Anyone else super excited for this new book coming out in November?

Huh. Thought that series was done. Lost track around I think book three when I dropped it due to the mc becoming to much of a whiner for my taste.

Paolini did state that he would do spinoffs in that universe.

I remember reading the first one in middle school and seeing the movie. Damn that book deserved better than that movie.

He was working on this, I heard rumors!!!! And then when he announced that Disney was considering a production of his series again, he pushed fan support to get Disney to agree!!!

Hate to break it to you but that is a spin-off from the series. The latest one came out in 2011 and won't be coming back.

Eragon was my favorite book series when I was a teenager.
I’m looking forward to it. The question is can I finish the fimfic I’m reading, the inheritance cycle and the other spinoff before then.

Paloini stated the mainline series is coming back after this one. He said he needed a book to act as abridge between the two.
First one was great, second one was OK, third was awfully. He showed his inexperience with writing wars that were were just plain wrong. No way would Erogon's brother would be considered for kingship. He was a muttineer and would be lucky to not be executed because of his relationship with Eragon.
The author put in his political beliefs too much also in the third book.
