This is just a small byproduct of my mind while I am working on a bigger project. It popped up in my head, wouldn´t let go and blocked any creativity, so I had to get it out of there...

Dreams.
What are they?
Where are they coming from?
And what happens to our souls while we´re dreaming?
Or aren´t we really dreaming?
Does our soul just wander to another place to rest while we´re sleeping?

When a young filly has a nightmare, her mother tells her a bedtime story, that she´ll never forget. A fantastic story about dreams, nightmares and the famous Twilight Sparkle...

Informations:

This story is two-parted.
On the one side, there is the 'present' world, the world the mentioned filly and her mother are living in.
On the other side, there is the bedtime story of the filly´s mother, which is about Twilight.

I could write more things and explanations, but that would just spoil way too much!

Because I´m a writer who´s very inspired by music, I´ll sometimes assemble some of this music into the story if it fits in.

She made it! She´s finally accepted at Princess Celestia´s School for Gifted Unicorns! And, moreover, she´s now the personal student of the princess herself!

But that doesn´t mean, that Twilight hasn´t to go to school like all the others. No!
Twilight sure gets some lessons from Celestia herself, but primary, she also has to attend school together with all the other talented unicorns.

What big and small adventures are waiting for her?
And will she be up to them?

This story takes place in the younger days of Twilight and shows the events before my story 'Rising of Destruction'.
Here, I´ll detail the stories of Twilight´s, Bleach´s and Silverleaf´s childhood I mentioned there, describe how they got friends, and so on.
I´ll create this story parallel to 'Rising of Destruction' and will try to upload new chapters on a regular basic.

This story is just an idea, I had one afternoon whilst hearing some music and I thought: before I forget it, I write it down.

This story is about you.
Escaped from home, escaped from the complicated and odious system of modernity, you walk aimlessly through the world.
The only thing you got, besides your memories, are the clothes you wear and your music. Searching for a new home, you walk through a wide plain, losing yourself in thoughts and your music.

But who could have known, that this music would give you the most realistic daydream you ever had?...

The whole story is basing on the music I related within and fits in like some kind of background music.
I know, the writing passages between the songs are faster to read than the songs to hear completely, but the main thought was, to give you my imagination and my daydream. I didn´t write it for the lyrical quality or eminence, just for the music within and the experience. Maybe I´ll revise it one day.

For now, just try to flow with the music and let your mind roam...

At Princess Celestias´ School for gifted Unicorns Twilight and her best friends Bleach and Silverleaf have no clue, that their halcyon days will be over soon.
But when a horrible nightmare haunts her, one of her best friends gets murdered and creepy shadows take an attempt on her life, Twilight slowly realizes, that she and her friends are just small pawns in a devilish plan to resurrect demonic and destructive powers old as the world.

An old book finally gives her a hint, what´s really going on.
But can she and her left friend stop the plans of the dark malevolent pony?
And are they able to stop the reawakening of the old demonial powers of destruction?

Some informations by myself:

This story plays about one to two years before the happenings of the series. It won´t look like that, but in the end, this story will fit to the events of the series, even if I´m writing an alternative way Twilight and Co. met each other the first time.
Mentioning that, a warning: The first chapter is only with Twilight. The others of the mane 6 appear not until chapter 2!

My other story 'The Halcyon Days' plays in the past of this story and shows the childhood of Twilight, Bleach and Silverleaf, how they got friends, and so on. It also details the stories of their past they are talking about in this story. Though, it isn´t fatal if you haven´t read 'The Halcyon Days'. You can understand this story without having read it.
It only gives the story and the characters more profoundness.
