This story is a sequel to The Warden: Part 2, The Crusader and The Warden

In the months following the events of Part 2, Princess Luna comes face to face with a terrifying reality: Nightmare Moon is feeding off of her own self-loathing and shame, gowing ever more powerful. Now, more than ever, Luna needs forgiveness in order for her to let go of her shame, and prevent Nightmare Moon from making a comeback. To do so, Luna faces the immense challenge of overcoming her fear and asking for the Warden's forgiveness for enabling Nightmare Moon to take his wife and daughter away centuries ago...

But she is not optimistic. She knows the odds of him actually forgiving her are low. But faced with the prospect of Nightmare Moon's return, she must step forward, and face the consequences of her most traumatic mistake...

While a handful of references of suicide/self harm are present, nopony kills themselves in this story.

Two years following The Warden's attack on Canterlot and his attempted murder of the royal sisters, Apple Bloom is accidentally teleported to some remote location deep in the Equestrian wilderness. When all hope seems to be lost for the little filly, an unexpected savior comes to her aid.

This is the second part of a multi part series, and it is a direct sequel to part 1. If you haven't yet read part one, do so! Otherwise, you're going to be in for an incomprehensible story. Once you are done reading this one, feel free to read the sequel, part 3! Enjoy!

In the days following the wedding of Cadence and Shining Armor, Twilight is enjoying some much needed rest at Canterlot, alongside Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. However, when an old foe of the throne makes a sudden appearence and threatens to kill the sisters, terrible secrets are uncovered, a friendship is put to a jarring test, and the ponies are thrust into a fight for their very lives.
