My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It was a show that so many loved, so many hated, so many were indifferent about, and so many knew nothing of. But now, it's over. The show has run its course.

Twilight apparently didn't get the memo.

What do you do when the world is against you? Do you fight back, refuse to bow to the masses, soldier on through the darkest of times? Or do you cower in fear of every little thing, convincing yourself that nothing and no one can or will help you; that you're just another statistic waiting to fall beneath the unforgiving axe of fate?

Goldengrape cowers under the shadow of the blade. Every day it inches closer, and every day he hides from it in vain. But his time is coming, and he cannot run forever. It would take a miracle to save him now.

A simple collection of (usually) non-related one-shots and short stories inspired by simple prompts from the Prompt-a-Day group founded by Peregrine Caged.

Warning: some of these tales are experimental in nature! Please do not approach any foreign or unusual substances without the proper protective gear! (Translation: I may attempt a number of different writing styles and/or subjects during the course of these prompts, and I will warn you whenever I stray into dangerous/unexplored territory.)

I was inspired to form my own collection after I learned of the group from a favorite author of mine, Admiral Biscuit.

Ever since she received her cutie mark, Sand Scout has only wanted to be recognized as the competent treasure hunter she is. There's only one problem: she hasn't actually done any real treasure-hunting. But she knows she would be brilliant if somepony would just give her a chance, and she's getting fed up with ponies laughing her out of their offices.

Broke, homeless, and too inexperienced to land a job, Sand Scout decides that the only way forward is the "road less traveled". Her friends and fellow team members, Kiwi, Nifty, and Jinx, aren't so convinced, but without anything to their names and no better suggestions, they don't have much of a choice in the matter.

The best they can do now is try to ignore the voices screaming at them to turn back, that what they're doing is illegal, and that if they just try harder they can find a good job...

Perhaps they should have listened.
