I think it'd be better if I just shut my mouth, cuz I hate how I look, how I sound.
Hello wonderful readers and friends!
My new story, titled Fiddlefids, is a one shot that takes place in the same AU as Rekindled Embers. If you enjoy Rekindled Embers, and want to read a fluffy little piece about Emberglow's parents, check it out!
For those of you faithful readers who follow Rekindled Embers, a quick update.
As many of you may know, I write far in advance of the release schedule. As of this blog post, I just released the edited version of Chapter 17, and I'm currently working on the first draft of Chapter 35.
Second, if you haven't noticed, I try to post worldbuilding/interesting side notes in the comments for each chapter. Watch for my comments for some fun but unnecessary insights into the world!
Chapter 10 of Rekindled Embers will be delayed a few days.
I know, I'm sorry. Here's the reason:
I feel a bit bad with it being Tuesday and not having any horse words to post. Because chapter 8 had to be delayed a bit, chapter 9 will be done next week, and hopefully I'll be posting it next Tuesday.
In the meantime, though, look at this thing!

I knew I'd be dropping the finished version of chapter 8, and I was pretty excited before I went to bed.
I'm also really enjoying the future stuff I'm writing, and I'd been really enjoying the bits I had just put into the rough draft for chapter 33, so I had that on my mind.
One year ago today I wrote my first words in Rekindled Embers. I only started posting chapters a few months ago, but this story has been a huge part of my life the last year. I wanted to take a moment to thank my readers, and especially to thank my editor, Cyonix. I also want to thank my ever-supportive wife, who is eternally patient with me spending hours sitting down and writing horse words.
...AND IT LOOKS AMAZING! I'M SO HAPPY!
I commissioned JodTheCod for the cover art. He was wonderful to work with.
I just finished my first pony story, and it's a little rough, but I'm super happy with it. Consonance and Dissonance was my quarantine project, and I'm pretty proud of myself for finishing it. I would love to hear from people what they liked, what they didn't like, how much of a talentless hack I am, etc.
Hello Bronies
I don't know if anybody is really ever gonna read this, but here goes.
I've been writing my whole life. I'm terrible at it. Like, really awful. I love to do it, but I'm bad at it. But the only way to get better at something is to practice, right?
