From Sidekick to Villain? · 2:56am April 17th

Hello again, and welcome to another update on the adaptation of 'Howlite Howler' to Of Scales and Fur:

So, you all know Luke, right? The diamond dog that befriends Shiva during her time in captivity, who gives her a way into a Diamond Dog pack and eventually becomes the father to her children?

Well, I'm wondering if I should expand his role a little in 'Of Scales and Fur.'

Back from the Dead? · 11:06pm March 31st

Hello again everyone,

So, I've been continuing work on adapting 'Howlite Howler' into 'Of Scales and Fur,' and I've come across a slight conundrum:

In 'Howlite Howler,' we had Beast Breaker; a cruel pony who captured Shiva and put her through a lot of torture and pain until Shiva snapped and killed him in a fit of rage, causing Twilight and most of Equestria to see Shiva as a monster due to them not knowing Beast Breaker's true actions until much later.

Empathy: it's good... right? · 8:49pm March 24th

So, I was watching this video about bullying:

And it made me curious: a lot of the antagonists in my stories are meant to be heroes of their own stories. Their arcs encourage readers to look at things from their point of view and generally I want my stories to encourage empathy and understanding.

Update on writing · 5:55pm March 11th

Hello again everyone,

Just wanted to mention that for all you fans of Shiva's adventures in Howlite Howler, I've got news:

After publishing Howlite Howler, I started adapting the story into an original fantasy thriller adventure. Sadly, this means Twilight, Celestia and Equestria in general had to go :fluttershysad:.

Howlite Howler Revision - GO! · 5:34pm Oct 28th, 2020

Hello, all my wonderful readers,

So, I've been thinking about something, and I'd like your feedback:

With Howlite Howler 3 drawing to a close, I found myself looking back on Shiva's journey. And I remembered that Luke was originally based on the Lucario Pokemon from... well, Pokemon. :twilightsheepish:

TF2 Analysis - Lightning Bliss · 3:15pm Aug 17th, 2019

Fiery Joker, I like you – really, I do – but you literally have a video series called ‘Taking Things too Seriously.’ How are you unable to take the one thing that should be taken seriously… well, seriously? What is this one thing, you may ask?
Only the alicorn who is, personally, my favorite. An alicorn I like more than Celestia AND Luna. I am talking, of course, about Lightning Bliss.

I’ll admit it right now; I wasn’t brought into the Brony Community by Lauren Faust’s show. I used to be one of the many people who took one look at the pastel-colored ponies, bright and artful environments and overall-cheery and positive demeanor, and dismissed the show as ‘just for little girls.’ But a select group managed to change my mind; a group of passionate reviewers, critics and artists who really loved My Little Pony. They are known as the Brony Analyst Community. And as it so happens,
