Today, a year ago, my FimFiction account went live. I published my first story, Railway Adventure, 4 days later, fully expecting to sink onto relative obscurity.

Now, here I am, 56 stories and 201 followers later. I want to thank each and every one of you who joined me on this journey, and here's hoping the next year will be just as good as the previous one.

Since the last post, we have started cleaning efforts, under the title Operation Eternal Homestead. We have successfully cleaned the floor of his bedroom, and I am currently awaiting damage assessment of the rest of the room.

Today, 18 years ago, terrorists flew hijacked planes into the Twin Towers in New York, and the Pentagon. A fourth was going to be crashed into the White House, but the passengers overpowered their hijackers and the plane crashed into a field. Two years ago, I was in Canada at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton Lakes National Park. The staff there where formal trousers and chequered shirts. This is important, as I was wearing one too. I was casually browsing the shop when a woman called over to me (we'll call her Woman 1).
