A funny story from my life · 3:19pm Sep 5th, 2019
Hi guys! I was recently reminded of this story, and I'm still laughing about it today.
Two years ago, I was in Canada at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton Lakes National Park. The staff there where formal trousers and chequered shirts. This is important, as I was wearing one too. I was casually browsing the shop when a woman called over to me (we'll call her Woman 1).
W1: Young man, come over here!
Me: What seems to be the problem, ma'am?
W1: Open that cabinet for me and take out the items so I can look at them.
Me: I... don't work here, ma'am. Sorry.
W1: Yes you do! You're wearing a chequered shirt!
We end up in a loop for about 5 minutes, before my mum comes over (MU)
MU: Are you OK?
W1: This man is exceptionally rude and refuses to serve me!
MU: He's my son. We're tourists!
W1: Well, so am I!
Cue another loop. Finally, the manager (MA) comes over.
MA: What's going on here, folks?
W1: This employee of yours is extremely rude and refuses to serve me, not least take out the items from that shelf!
The manager takes one look at me.
MA: He isn't one of my employees. Sorry.
W1 looks furious, and simply storms off. I never saw her again, but the sheer absurdity of the encounter still has me laughing to this day.
Noice XD
Oh btw..... you are almost to 300 Blog Posts! X3

Ever had anything like this?
LOL! Welp, that's certainly nice. I've had a couple of stories where people thought I had worked in certain places before.
For instance, one night, my whole family went to a restaurant, and I had a red hat on at the time. So, I was walking back to the table after washing my hands when all of a sudden, a Chinese woman called me over from her table for the receipt or something, causing me to stare at her in confusion before calling out to her, saying "Miss, I don't work here!" before walking back to my table in embarrassment. My whole family laughed at me for being called over from another customer there, and I simply asked with confusion, "Do I look like somebody who even works here!?" Pretty sure that was about 3 years ago, when I was 14 years old.

LOL.
It gets weirder; my dad worked as a hotel porter when he was a student!
5116498
Wat.
Okay, maybe your dad was working a part-time job there. But, I was 14 years old, and was just there as a customer.
My high school had a uniform. Sometimes, after school, I would go grocery shopping with my mom. There were times when I was confused for an employee. Never had any problems, though.
BTW, this was also in Canada.

I've got 10 stories in my fimfic account. They all have been proofread by my GF and went through multiple grammar software checks. I'm still scared to release them. They have no spelling mistakes or grammatical errors like the other books I released but still, I'm a bit nervous lol
