A Royal Guard has been sent from Canterlot to see if there is any truth to the rumors about a previously unknown monster lurking in the Everfree.

Rated "Teen" for mild violence and death.

It has been three generations since the founding of Equestria. Despite founding a nation together most of the ponies still live with their own race. Discord has set his sights on Equestria, the harmony and peace that the ponies are striving towards sickens him. He will destroy Equestria and drown it in eternal chaos. A few weeks ago Canterlot lost contact with both of Equestria's other capitols. Refugees have flooded the city seeking shelter from the overwhelming power of Discord.

This is a first person, all OC story that gives a possible history to Discords reign of tyranny and chaos that caused Celestia and Luna to take action against him.

Contains the genre "dark" because ponies get hurt, die, and suffer some emotional and physical trauma. This story will not contain "Cupcakes" level of gore or torture.
