BAM! Rough draft for Chapter 11 of What They Expect to Give is done! Just need to get it into a Google doc for my editor and send it off! He still has yet to read Chapter 10, but have no fear--that will go up on Sunday no matter what.

My son's three favorite cartoons are Little Einsteins, Dinotrux, and... Wait for it... My Little Pony! He's 2 years old.

I swear I didn't brainwash him. He'd just sit with us when me and hubby were binging on mlp. I'm teaching him the names of the main six. Fluttershy was first when he got her happy meal toy. Then it was Pinkie Pie and Applejack. He's having trouble saying Rainbow Dash. Haven't bothered with Rarity and Twilight yet.

Clearly not something I can watch with only a minimal amount of attention. It's looking good, though! But...it's kind of weird. I submit as evidence:

I really want to post the new update for What They Expect to Give and it's driving me nuts. I didn't work on Chapter 10 yesterday. I fell asleep when my son took a nap in the afternoon instead of taking advantage of the free time. Then I had a drama-filled evening so I couldn't focus even after he fell asleep for the night. Today is hubby's birthday, but maybe I can knock the chapter out of the park between today and tomorrow.

No new update again today. Yeah...it sucks. BUT, I'm getting over my cold, so is my kid, and I'm almost done with Chapter 9. Hip, hip, hooray!

Tomorrow I'm hoping to send things off to my editors. Afterwards, I'll start work on Chapter 10 immediatamente. The end of every month is always the roughest, but this time is especially weird because I have two birthdays within a week of each other. Next bday? Hubby's is on Saturday.
