Hello everyone, for those of you who don't know me, my name is RockinBro and I have been asking questions about a story I want to post on here and I've almost figured out everything that I need to know. I would like to thank one user, The Descendant, for helping me and answering my questions. I hope to get my story written soon. If anyone here is very good with editing and knowing where all punctuations go, mostly semicolons and regular colons, that would be of great help.

I can understand your reasoning, but just let me point out that you don't actually have to join any of those groups to contact the people in them who are advertising their willingness to edit.
1995211 Part of me doesn't really want to jump right into a group because:
1. I just joined here
2. What if I join a group that I think is good, but then change my mind? I don't think anyone will be thrilled if I join a group and then get out if I don't feel comfortable in it.

I think that it is a very good thing that you are looking for an outside opinion before releasing the story. I know that I never really started to learn until I started using the experience of others to guide me. Fortunately, FIMFiction is full of such folks! 1995187 well, I have just joined and not yet posted a story on here. I tried a long time ago to post one at fanfiction.net, but that didn't work out so well and it was confusing, so I'm hoping that I might have better luck here. I know how to write stories, but the only thing that seems to get me is the editing part. I don't know who is a good editor, but when I am writing my story, I might need someone to go through each chapter I write and look for any places where there might be incorrect punctuation and put it in the right spots.
