It's Winter in the Dragonlands, which means lots of rain and time spent inside. Feeling somewhat lonely, Garble can't even work up the inspiration for his poetry. Luckily, Smolder is there to drop by and entertain him with her own storytelling.

Set between Season 6 and Season 8, circa a few months after 'Gauntlet of Fire'.

Upon a successful occupation of Canterlot by the Storm Forces, Commander Tempest Shadow finds herself a recipient of the generosity of her lord, and lover, the Storm King. A surprise awaits at the end of the night...

Proofread by MagicMan.

Very much not my headcanon, this nonetheless was an odd little idea I had trotting through my brain that wouldn't let me go, considering how few Tempest Shadow x Storm King stories there are.

T rating owes itself to the largely softcore nature of any sexual content. Tagged "Fetish" for mild butt inflation, mainly an idea of MagicMan's, which ought to be regarded as an Equestrian equivalent of breast expansion.

With apologies for the Chickification of Tempest Shadow.

After her misuse of the Alicorn Amulet proves to have legal consequences, Trixie Lulamoon finds herself consigned to Erebus.

Tartarus' minimum-security counterpart, Erebus is no less a subterranean prison. In her time there, Trixie will have to learn the ropes if she hopes to fit in with the crowd.

These are tales of Erebus' denizens, the days they lead, and possibly, the friendships they make in this unlikeliest of places.

While associated with the Spectrumverse, reading the main story is not a requirement to enjoy this anthology.

The Hidden Village was found. Zecora and her rebellion have been captured. The Everfree Rebellion is finished. And now Queen Chrysalis and her Swarm reign supreme over Equestria unchallenged.

Sitting high upon her grand throne, the Changeling Queen prepares to bring the striped nuisance and her rebel friends to book.

If the new Changeling Queendom of Equestria is to last a thousand years, then a few examples need to be made, and the spiders in Chrysalis’ brain have spun a beautiful web of punishments for those who made the fatal mistake of becoming a thorn in her side...

For over a thousand years, the Festival of Hearthswarming has been celebrated throughout Equus as a ceremony of harmony and friendship. On that fateful evening, long ago, two exceptional fillies were given to all of ponykind; the regents of the Sun and Moon. It marked the beginning of an era of peace and plenty.

But now, something has gone terribly wrong.

In a universe that is a twisted mockery of the one where Twilight Sparkle and her circle of friends carry out their lives' work, the only fires that burn are those spread by the Equestrian Solar Empire as it wages a pitiless crusade to bring about Perfect Harmony – both on this world and that of recently-encountered mankind.

As a new year dawns, Queen Celestia sends out her assassin to deal with the reindeer Spirit of the Holiday. Their confrontation tonight will decide the future of Hearthswarming. Perhaps it is destined to die and leave the worlds a colder, more cruel place. Or maybe, just maybe, will its true meaning live on in some small spark.

A tale set in the greater universe of Spectrum, formerly The Other Side of the Spectrum, though knowledge of those works is not required to understand this short story.

Co-written with the invaluable help of TB3 and Sledge115.
