3 months have passed since the zombie apocalypse in Equestria started. Friends and family have either died or have been turned into ravenous zombies. Only few survived the spread in Ponyville. Celestia and Luna are unfit to perform their royal duties, making it twilight every day. Twilight Sparkle is nowhere to be found and no one knows how the Crystal Empire is doing.
