It's been a while since I've written one of these, but I've been hanging around in FimFiction's Discord's Writing Help chats, and one of the most common things I've been seeing is difficulty with character voicing. Character voicing is hard. It's what's important to making characters stand out from each other. So I thought I'd write a little blog about some of my thoughts on Word Choice in relation to a character's voice.
As I'm writing, I'd like to share some thoughts on seaponies. Not the hippogryph/seapony magical hybrids, but the original seaponies that lived in the sea long before Equestria was Equestria. All headcanon ahead, so brace for impact.
As the title says.
I've even written the first nearly two hundred words. But I would be terrible at bringing this to the proper fruition it deserves. My ken is not comedy, and this is so clearly a comedic idea.

I've recently had the opportunity to include a lot of what I loved most... well... one of the things I loved most about writing: Dreaming. More specifically, dreaming of details that otherwise aren't addressed in the show. Lore, in other words. Especially history, and myth. I like myth.
