This is the story, of a Unicorn named Twilight. Twilight studied studied under Princess Celestia in a big Treehouse, where she was the princess’s star pupil. Twilight’s day to day process was simple, she sat in her room and read books off her bookshelf. Every day her baby dragon Spike would come in to check on her, with new books of varying genres, lengths, and arranged via dewey decimal system. This is what The princess’s pupil did every day of every month of every year, and although other ponies considered it soul rending, Twilight relished every moment that new books came in, as though her sole purpose was to study all day. And Twilight, was happy.

During Nightmare Moon's escape from her lunar prison, by complete chance she accidentally free's another, alien, prisoner from his death sentence. However, when he crash lands just outside Ponyville, he sets forth on his prime directive:

While a diminutive threat at first, there is a reason why this nightmarish mechanization was about to be thrown into a black hole... and this world is about to learn exactly why.

Nurse Redheart loves her job, and she is a huge fan of the renowned Doctor Scalpel, so what could be better than Scalpel being on route to work at the very hospital she does? He ask's for her to be his newest protégé!

She can't believe her luck, but when she finally steps into the operating room, things get out of hoof quickly... and the first sign that things are going Downhill is that a rubber chicken is in the operating room.

Hopefully this doesn't turn into a case of Doctor assisted Homicide.
