Hi, I'm writing a new multichapter story and have attached the first chapter. It's about a bunch of relatively ordinary ponies who run around having to make sure that the entire MLP universe works the way it is supposed to - the main character is kind of in charge of keeping history working. The fic is mostly centered around Princess Celestia and to a lesser extent Cadance, though largely through the eyes of the relatively minor OC.

I actually really love Boast Busters, even considering the misfired moral of the story. Besides the obvious awesome introduction to Trixie, I really liked the Ursa and how they got the three most outgoing and combative members of the main cast to try to one-up her - with Pinkie and Fluttershy, being the most tolerant and likely to preach restraint, somehow conspicuously absent.

EDIT: Holy snot on a pike, the first one's at the top of the feature box. How is it that both these stories that came from smashing my forehead into my keyboard for a couple hours are getting attention faster than all my other stuff that took ages to write?

Okay, I've started my first MLP story ever with an OC. Now, when I was writing solely for myself in the past (stories that have never been shown to anyone else), I know that a lot of my main characters were self-inserts and basically Mary Sues. But I want to write a decent OC this time around. I know in the very least that none of the OCs in my new story are self-inserts, but I need an opinion on whether or not the main character, Sickleswich, is too special or sue-ish.
