Whoever that was that commented a few chapters ago was right. This guy is evil! Or an Antihero of sorts. It seems for him the ends justify the means. Personally, I still find this story very interesting and cannot stop reading. There are hardly any stories on here where the MC is like this, and it is very well done. I do suggest at some point putting small redeemers here and there to show he isn't a supervillain (unless he is), otherwise he may become too unlikeable.
A very interesting idea he has going here, harvesting nightmares. Reminds me of iron Golem farms in minecraft, but very deadly.

That's right.
Exactly!
It's one of the secondary reasons I started writing in the first place.
All the "antiheroes" or "villains" I've seen here and on the Russian site have not impressed me at all.
It's either a somewhat grim standard hero. Or some lunatic doing a senseless massacre.
There are also revenge stories, but I hate those.
As one guy has said before: there are too many stories of chivalrous heroes here.
So why don't you see the villain's point of view?
It would be against the spirit of the story.
The main character definitely doesn't feel any regrets.
Spin the plot by coming up with illogical redemptions? Ugh.
But there is some good news. You've probably seen the main six tag, right? Twilight's gonna be making more appearances soon. And she'll have her own moral dilemmas and anxieties. So there will be someone to empathize with.

Sounds good mate! I can’t wait to have the others introduced! It was just a suggestion, but I was thinking something like what happened at the beginning of the story where he saves the zebra that loves him. Sure it was for his personal gain, but he still saved her.
You know. If he keeps doing that he could form his own cult. By saving his own victims they would more quickly develop Stockholm syndrome.
