Canterlot City
Rainbow Dash groaned, her vision slowly coming back to her as the bleariness in her eyes began to clear. She shook her head slightly and tried moving her hands to rub her eyes.
Tried being the key word.
Rainbow's eyes shot open, no longer in a dazed state, and she looked down to see that she was strapped to a chair. Her wrists were strapped to the arms of the chair, as were her feet strapped to the legs of the chair. The teenage hero struggled to break out of her bindings, but it was all in vain as the straps wouldn't budge.
Deciding that this wasn't getting anywhere, she took note of her location. It was a dark room with a single spotlight shining down upon her. Rainbow's eyes darted around in a panic, she didn't like not being able to move. Sweat slowly began to form and fall down the side of her face, her fingers began to twitch, her feet began to tap on the ground.
Rainbow began to hyperventilate as her situation became apparent.
She wasn't going anywhere.
"HELP!!!" Rainbow shouted, hoping, no, praying for someone to hear her, "PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!" The fear in her voice was evident as panic set in at full force.
"Oh, nobody can hear you, my little dimwit." A condescending voice suddenly spoke up through the darkness, causing Rainbow to cease her escape attempt. It was then that the sounds of footsteps made their way to her hears, echoing throughout the dark room.
There, exiting the darkness, was none other than Edward Nygma, holding a strange device in his hand with an evil smile on his face. Rainbow physically gulped as the super villain slowly approached the teenager, readying his mind reading device to be placed on top of her head.
"Now let's see what makes you tick." Riddler finished with a dark chuckle as he stared intently into Rainbow's eyes.
Sunset watched as the raindrops collided with the window, her head being held by her hand under her chin. She hadn't said a word since the groups encounter with Batman, how could she?
"It's not like I just uncovered one of the biggest mysteries in the world." Sunset thought to herself, still struggling to process this information. The rest of the group were talking, but she wasn't listening, she drowned it all out as she continued thinking to herself.
What was she to do now? What would she do with this information? The old her would've found some way to play it to her advantage. But she wasn't like that anymore, she was better, she is better than she was before. She needed time to process this. She needed to think.
It was then that the former Equestrian finally decided to speak up for the first time since they left the Shipping Yard, turning her head to say, "Stop the van."
Although confused at first, Applejack slowly placed her foot on the brakes, slowing the van down before coming to a stop next to the sidewalk. Sunset wasted no time in opening the door and getting out of the vehicle.
As the teenage girl was walking down the sidewalk, Pinkie suddenly popped her head out the window and called out to her friend, "SUNNY, WHERE ARE YOU GOING?"
"TO THINK!" She replied without turning to face her friend, not seeing the worried expressions on each of The Rainboom's faces.
Her hands firmly in her pockets, Sunset Shimmer walked through the rain so she could find a place to regather her thoughts, to process her recent discovery.
She's not going to run into Clowns is she?
Nice to get an update by the way.
The old you will make a dumbass mistake and regrets it so much. That you rather get hit by the rainbow laser a hundred times, than pissing Batman of all people!
I do hope that either Batman or the Rainbooms will learn that Rainbow never returned home and something bad happened or Riddler will continue to use her for his sinister plans.

Quick tip, I don’t speak for everyone, but most places I frequent consider posting over a dozen comments in a short span of time rude. Again, I’m not speaking for everyone, but I suspect some people would appreciate it if you either get all the stuff you wanna say down into one or two comments or if you’d spread it out.
I just read the newest chapter and man this is getting crazy! Rainbow Dash is tied up and face to face with the Riddler! Honestly I'm worried about what that nutcase is going to do to Rainbow which is no doubt going to be painful to her.
But now Sunset is by herself as she was asked to be dropped off after her discovery about Batman. I'm glad she's not evil anymore. Because I know the old Sunset Shimmer would be stupid trying to use this knowledge to her advantage but I would ask her this. Do you really want to try to blackmail someone who smashes people's faces in with his bare knuckles?
I just hope Sunset will be all right by herself and I wonder if anyone can save Rainbow Dash? I hope to see more soon and I looke forward to more.
Merry Christmas and Good Luck Battwell.
Let's recap:
As Rainbow Dash wakes up frightened by her being kidnapped by the Riddler, Sunset Shimmer splits up with her friends to try to figure out what to do about her discovery of Batman's identity.
Have I forgotten something?
My tribute for Kevin Conroy:
Merry Christmas to you too Batwell

No it isn't. She needs to hear this.
Besides, this isn't even Batman's top most harshest speeches ever.

Merry Christmas
I had it but was busy and forgot to type my comment. The old Sunset would fail because someone else tried that but failed and we all know who that is; Dr. Hugo Strange.
When are you posting the next chapter ?

In denial over reality, I guess.

I’ll get around to it
I’ve been super busy lately
Sorry for the late comment. Been busy since the holidays!
Anyway, things aren't looking good as the Riddler is using a mind reading device on Rainbow Dash! He's going to know all about the girls' magic! Or worse, Equestria!
And while I'm glad that Sunset isn't the "old" Sunset anymore, I wonder what will she do with the knowledge that Batman is Bruce Wayne?
It's been so many days next chapter when?
