A veteran soldier from a broken planet, born in service and fighting for his species, now lost, sucked into a world of peace and prosperity. Wonder what will happen?
11269813 Well I’m sure if an alien were stranded on a planet with ponies that only know of how to make friends, break out into song about friends, and even have magic of friendship along with hugging coming into homes unannounced and more I’m sure the term “privacy” doesn’t exist or isn’t strong their but yet it pisses me off two XD
I get that, though the ponies are all about friendship and rainbows... you'd at least expect a MODICUM of respect for privacy. The fact that they want to be his friends but immediately violate him via privacy, says a lot about their harmony...
11269837 Nothing says, “Equestria’s is peaceful by enforcing friendship by using it to force a friendship with strangers and looking into their personal lives and property : D” just glad I manage to capture that and set it to work well, but if you think that’s crazy then wait, it might get a lot weirder.
11269854 Love the artwork and the fallen Kreigman sketch Love how they look and thank you for honoring those sons and daughters of Kreig whose did their duty and now at peace
11270902 In chapter one, he was there when he saw the black stone fortress fall, and with that along with him, believed to be the last of his kind, and believing he'd failed and him failing to “Die.” only to realize with the help of Princess Luna for a bit, I thought it necessary as like saying “last warrior stands alone but within him is his people's history.” To which he says “Cadia Stands as the planet broke before the guard did,” without knowing that Creed was the one that said it. Before his “capture.”
Worse than doing archaic is doing it halfway in the same sentence:
"Does thou truly believe a warrior such as yourself, should go beyond the stars in this fashion, Thron Grey of Cadia?"
Dost (2nd person, singular) , thyself (Yourself corresponds to you)
"Don't fail them by taking thous life, but rather, continue to show them that, though the last of your kind and blood will still stand strong to honor the world you called home, even the ones you lost, you are not alone Grey know that well."
Dost fail them not by taking continue you must (sounds Yoda-ish, but it was common, correct me someone if I'm wrong).I would use persevere or endure instead.
thy. Archaic accusative\possessive pronouns are irregular the last of thy kind ... shalt stand yet strong, likely. Sounds like a promise. thou art not alone (you are not alone would be plural).
Rule of thumb that archaic language didn't use "not" contractions (hence there is a meme about Luna) and placed it sometimes in the back.
Hm, commas. This would look like (I took a bit of liberty to try and understand what is going on there):
"Dost fail them not by taking thy life, but rather persevere thou must to show them that the last of thy kin shalt stand yet strong to honor the world you called home and those thou had lost. Thou art not alone, Grey, knowest this well."
( here is a tidbit - "you called home" would imply a plural "you", like, all of you, can be used "thou" to point at Grey)
11272781 Now that is incredibly helpful, and you have no idea how hard it was. The only experience of Arabic speaking was dark souls blood borne and Elden ring, so yea, I was fucked but much very appreciated greatly
11273100 There are actually some resources in net, if you know how to query. It's "archaic verb endings", Early Modern English , something like that. Wikipedia actually got archaic grammar sections and questions about this style are allowed on english.stackexchange. some people mistakenly look for Old English. That's a weird Norse language to modern ear , little known about it.
One of features of it is that 2nd person had plural and singular form - thou and you. Plural form matches modern English. Plural also could be used to address a superior, e.g. a royalty.
There are 3nd and 3rd person verb forms, excrpt that auxilary verbs don't take the latter, afaik.
Celestia, you done goofed. You never ask a Cadean, much less a Guard, to put down their weapons! Powerful Xeno or not, you deserve what you are about to get!
glad to help and interesting design, sort of like two face from batman, eh? He's lucky he is still alive and survived those burns.
Is he very aware of his face, or rather does not care?
It really pisses me off that yhe ponies don't heed privacy...

Oh, is Celestia gonna get a dressing down along with the fake 6?

11269854
Same
11269859
Most likely hopefully they didn’t take away his weapons or destroy them or anything and I hope he does

Also no pony or anyone better not mess with the grave other than to move the fallen guardsmen into a more honorable spot for him to be remembered
"Corpse Starch. Even in Death, I'm still Served."
Pure genius
Really good so far keep it up
He would not know this, he died before it was a thing.
