It never occurred to me that dash wouldn't be the only one able to touch the fog. Pretty obvious in hind sight. I wonder why tempest and her crew can't do it though.
Perhaps it's because rainbow and the cmc (I'm assuming sweetie and scouts can do it to) feel they deserve to return to the trials?
10414792 Yeah, it's important to remember that the touch of the Entity comes from the person's inner feelings of despair. Tempest and crew all wanted to escape, and as I've been slowly establishing with their side-stories, they're all trying to move on and find happiness. The more they do that, the further they are from the Fog.
Well, it's pretty damn obvious CHS learned nothing from the Anon-A-Miss incident. This version of Canterlot really is the sphincter of the universe, isn't it? No wonder The Entity has taken a particular interest in it.
"the bandages again she lets out a small" "the bandages again and she lets out a small"?
"back at me with ugly, beaten look" "back at me with an ugly, beaten look"?
"“I get,” I say quietly." "“I get it,” I say quietly."?
"She isn't supposed doesn’t panic and shake" Missing words?
"her phone that lays a few inches" "her phone that lies a few inches"?
From the title, I was wondering if the police were going to call on Dash and/or Apple Bloom in this chapter. Not yet, at least, apparently... Not disappointed with the chapter even though my guess was wrong there, though. :) Thanks for writing. :)
10415379 Considering that extensive cyber bullying that lead to a student committing suicide went unchecked while under their watch, it would not surprise me if they were fired or perhaps resigned.
So I'm gonna be real with you guys for a second. IRL, I grew up under a sustained campaign of physical violence from the school I went to. The teachers ignored it, the principal ignored it, and things got bad. That's as far as I'll go by description. Police were called a few times (on my behalf). I even ended up in the hospital once.
Nothing happened.
No charges. No one was fired. No one resigned. I'm not sure if y'all live in the US, but that's... unfortunately how it is here. That's one of the reasons I'm telling the story this way. Because this kind of thing happens on the daily in a lot of places and nobody notices or cares except on a very small scale, if that. To those who might call it unrealistic that this is happening, believe me, I would be thrilled if this was unrealistic.
Seeing A.B. all broken, dead inside, and bruised beyond hell from head to toe, it makes me wonder truly why They haven’t turn themselves in to serve in juvenile hall for protection... I can’t even imagine where else they go to feel safe
10416849 I live in Canada, can't say I've ever seen or experienced anything get to that point when I was still in school without something being done, and saddened to here that's the case in other places.
10414961 It's not just CHS. It's just school in general. Heck, maybe even society overall. When we see some form of injustice, we do what ever we can to make it right. We then proceed to take out all our anger and frustration on the cause of the problem, under the guise of being 'righteous'.

With everything that's going on with the Crusaders, what're Celestia and Luna doing?
I wonder if this chapter, assuming the worst happens, is setting the CMC up to become The Legion

I do live in the U.S. and unfortunately know exactly what you mean.
