Chapter Twelve:broken hearts

"Things aren't going as PLANNED" growled Adagio, she and her sisters were hiding in a closet.

"Why not?" asked Sonata

"Because our little diva is falling for that stupid boy, and I have another theory" Adagio grabbed Sonata by the front of her dress and slammed her against the wall.

"YOU LITTLE TRAITOR, WHY DID YOU WRITE THAT NOTE? WHO'S SIDE ARE YOU ON?" Snarled Adagio

"I-I didn't write that note" rasped Sonata "Though I should have" she muttered the last part.

"Don't lie to me, now tell me WHY DID YOU WRITE THAT NOTE?!"

"I d-didn't" replied Sonata again, this time, however, she was close to tears.

All Aria could do was watch.

Fluttershy sat down, her hands in Discord's

"Thank you for the dance, my dear, it was wonderful," said Discord smiling

"Well, I enjoyed it too,..." said Fluttershy

for a while, they gazed into each other's eyes,then Discord asked

"Fluttershy?"

"Yes, Discord?"

"Do you,....remember those gifts you got three days ago?"

"Yes"

"Well" discord went a deep scarlet

"I was the one who got them"

"O-Oh,..." Fluttershy went just as red as he did "Well,....th-thank you" she said

"You're welcome" he replied

then Fluttershy stood up

"Is it okay if I go inside to get some water?" asked Fluttershy

"Oh,.....yes you may," said Discord, slightly disappointed that she would be gone for a moment

Fluttershy smiled and walked inside, a few minutes later, Discord heard footsteps, he shot his head up in excitement, but it quickly disappeared once he saw it was Rainbow, she was glaring at him.

"So, How's your little plan going?" she sneered

"What?" asked Discord confused

"Don't play dumb, I know you're trying to seduce her" she glared fiercely at him, Discord went a bright red

"I-I am not!" he said

"Come on, It's obvious that you love her, well newsflash buddy, she HATES YOU"

"N-No she doesn't, she's my friend"

"She's only doing it to get good scores in school, she already likes someone else, she actually told me that she would rather DIE than be with you!!!" said Rainbow

Discord stood stiff rooted to the spot,......she actually said those things?.....he should have known,...after all,.....no one ever wanted to be his friend,...no one.

Discord felt the tears run down his cheeks, as he ran out of the school, rainbow looked at him and smirked

"The idiot actually, fell for it, HA!, he couldn't even tell I was lying, goodbye Discord, and hopefully, you never come b-" said Rainbow turning around when she saw a horrified Fluttershy, standing in the doorway, with tears in her eyes.

Rainbow chuckled nervously "Uhh,..hey Fluttershy,...um,...enjoying the dance?"

"H-HOW C-COULD YOU?!!!" she yelled as she sobbed, she slowly shifted to the ground on her knees.

"Fluttershy,....I-I did this for you," said rainbow, kneeling down and putting a hand on her shoulder, but Fluttershy slapped it away "Some friend YOU are" she snarled, Rainbow looked shocked, he had never heard her talk like that before, Fluttershy then stood up and ran outside the school, still crying heavily.

Rainbow looked up, she saw Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Twilight, and Sunset, all glaring down at her

"Were you LISTENING Rainbow?" asked Sunset glaring at her, "We said that Discord was not an enemy, yet you STILL choose to get rid of him"

"B-But Fluttershy,...s-she's like my sister,...I-I care about her safety"

"Well it seems like you certainly didn't give a care in the WORLD about her happiness" snapped Rarity

"An' besides, she was never in danger in the th' first dang place," said Applejack

"It's not funny to LIE dashie, just ask me and Applejack," said Pinkie who was also glaring at her

"And now because of your ignorant behavior, you broke TWO hearts tonight," said Twilight an angry glare in her eyes as well

"We hope your happy," said Sunset, as the five other girls stalked out of the garden.

"Alright Sonata, now's your last chance, to tell the truth, WHY DID YOU WRITE THAT NOTE?" asked a ballistic Adagio

"I DIDN'T" shout Sonata, who was crying from the pain

"That's it, you asked for it" whispered Adagio dangerously, she then put her hands around Sonata's neck and started to constrict

Aria snapped, she ran over to Adagio and attempted to pull her back

"Adagio STOP, this is getting out of hand"

"I'm just giving her punishment to her, she wrote the note

"No she didn't, she's telling the truth"

"And how do YOU know?" asked Adagio

"BECAUSE I WAS THE ONE WHO WROTE IT, NOT HER!!!" shouted Aria, the room went silent, until Sonata asked

"B-But why?"

"Because I HATE working for Adagio, she abuses us, she won't stop ranting on about getting her revenge, and I was sick of it all.I looked back at you that day Adagio pushed you down Sonata, I saw your friend help you up, she was actually THERE for you, I didn't want Adagio to hurt me, but at the same time, I wanted to help, so I wrote the note and signed anonymous and thought that those girls would think it was you, but when Adagio resulted in trying to strangle you, I knew I had to come clean".

Adagio stared at both of them for a second, then said rather coolly"What do you know, you're both weak" she then sashayed out of the room.

Discord had his head in his hands, how could this happen to him? He was kind to her, he got her gifts, he did so much for her, yet she didn't love him, he felt as though his heart was run over by her feet,....suddenly, he felt great anger, no....if he couldn't win her, he would take her by force, she didn't have a choice, he took a little whistle out of his pocket.

"Well well, you've decided to accept my deal?" asked Adagio smiling evilly

"Yes, tell me,...what do I need to do?"

"Well, I was going to request you to cause an argument, but it looks like the girls are already arguing, thanks to that rainbow girl, so, for starters, you need to destroy these" she said, she handed him a box, he opened it, inside he saw five necklaces and one crown.

"I went to a place that's VERY hard to reach, to get these by the way"

Discord stared at the box what were these?

"Well you can start now unless you change your mind"

Discord quickly dropped them on the ground, adagio handed him a hammer, he took it and smashed each element to pieces, but he stopped when he got to one with a pink butterfly.

"Just smash it!" scolded Adagio

Discord smashed it to pieces, just like the others

adagio smiled, then she said

"Good, now smash these," she said handing him two red ruby necklaces

he smashed them with no hesitation, he then felt an unknown energy spread through his veins, almost as if he know what would happen, he used this energy and summoned a cotton candy cloud the rained chocolate milk, he wore a smile of pure insanity, adagio smiled

"Funny, now then if we combine my voice with your new magic, then nothing can stop us"

"Us?" asked Discord smiling at her like a maniac, he pinned her to the ground with one arm

"I don't think so," he said

"But,...but that was the deal, those were the rules"

"I apologize, my dear Adagio," he said, he then snatched the ruby necklace she had on her neck

"But I don't play fair" he used the hammer and smashed the last ruby necklace, to Adagio's horror

Discord then snapped his fingers and disappeared, leaving Adagio all alone.
