Chapter Thirteen: Love and insanity

Sunset and the others opened the door to go outside when they saw something that gave them horror and confusion, it was absolute chaos, there were cotton candy clouds raining chocolate milk, the ground was a blue and pink cheekerboared patteren, fish were swiming in the air bunnies with giraffe legs were running around frequently, and more.

"W-What's going on?" asked Twilight

"I don't know," said Sunset, who then saw Fluttershy running towards them

"This is terrible," she said

"Who in the wide, wide world could do this?"asked Rarity

"I believe the answer, my dear,-" said a voice that Fluttershy knew too well

"Is me" he appeared in front of them, he floating all on his own

"YOU, WE TRUSTED YOU!!! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?" yelled Sunset

"let's just say that when I use my magic, it gives me that wonderful feeling of-" he made a scary looking puppet appear

"Goosebumps"

The girls screamed, the puppet was terrifying, Discord then made the dummy disappear,

"Now then, how about we all have a seat?"

everyone except for Fluttershy fell on a chair, they tried to get up, but they were glued to the chairs, Rarity did her best not to cry.

"All we need are the elements of harmony, and we can stop you!!!" said Sunset

"I don't think so," said Discord, he snapped his fingers, and what remained of the elements appeared, they girls gasped in horror

"Yes, a bit unfortunate,......at least for you" he let out a cackle

"D-Discord," said Fluttershy finally speaking "Y-You have to stop"

Discord levitated her to his eye level

"Oh but the fun's only just started dearest" he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer "And by the way, causing chaos isn't my only intention"

"W-What?"

"I also intend to have,........a queen"

Fluttershy gulped

"And I don't want just any girl,......I want YOU"

Fluttershy's irises shrunk in horror, her heart pounded against her ribcage, Discord could feel it, he chuckled darkly, but softly

"WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY?" shouted Rainbow Dash

"YES" Discord shouted back angrily "DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?THIS IS THE MADNESS IN ME!!!"

Discord's voice echoed across the place

then out of nowhere, loud music started, and Discord started singing

"Just one spark is all it takes
I tried so hard but all goes up in
flames.This is not the way that I
thought I would turn out to be

consuming I fight to stay alive but

Discord's grip on Fluttershy tightened, once again, his voice echoed

"Madness in me

Discord then sang;

"Just one chance is all it takes
Can’t change the past but I can
fight to change today
This is not the way that I thought
I would turn out to be
Tried to get but all that I got
Was more insanity
Broken everything that I touched
Just gone against me

Discord's voice echoed across, his words full of nothing but insanity

Discord never felt more powerful, he had everyone right where he wanted them, he then sang;

Discord laughed as he continued to hold Fluttershy,

the girls sat hopelessly in their chairs, they had lost, they had no more magic, even if they did, they knew it couldn't overcome Discord's,.....that's when the obvious truth, struck Rainbow

"DISCORD" she shouted "I LIED OKAY?EVERYTHING I SAID WAS A LIE!!!"

Discord turned his head towards her "What do you mean?"

"Fluttershy doesn't hate you, I just made that up so you would stay away from her OKAY?"

Discord's face softened

"The reason I did that was because, she's like my sister, I just couldn't bare to see her go, but now I see that I was wrong, the reason is Because,...

I love her, she's the best friend I could ever have"

suddenly a rainbow emitted from Rainbow dash to Fluttershy

that's when the others caught on

"Fluttershy, that day, you gave me that bunny to hold, I was filled with happiness, no student I knew had ever treated me with kindness, let alone some who I just beat in the friendship games, I love you as a sister for that," said Twilight, rainbow then emitted from Twilight to Fluttershy, Discord snapped his fingers to try to make them disappear, but for some reason, he didn't succeed.

"Fluttershy, yeh remind meh of how my mom used ta be, beautiful, strong, and kind,......I love ya like a sister, and I always will" said Applejack, a rainbow emitted from Applejack to Fluttershy

"Fluttershy dear, you are beautiful, inside and out, I admire how you can be so calm around animals, I love you, just the way you are, I wish you were my second sister," said Rarity, a rainbow emitted from Rarity to Fluttershy

"Fluttershy, you're always willing to listen to what I have to say, even when it's crazy, your like my sister from another mister"

Sunset looked up, there wouldn't be enough power even with her

"WAIT!!!" shouted twoc voices, the girls turned around, it was Aria and Sonata

"We don't know much about friendship, but you're the kindest soul we've ever seen, we would rather be your friend, than listen to Adagio," said Sonata while Aria nodded two rainbows emitted from them, to Fluttershy

Sunset smiled and looked up at Discord "You may have destroyed the elements of harmony and the magic of friendship, but there's one thing that can fix it,...." the eight girls floated into the air without the chairs on their tails

"Love," said sunset before a rainbow emitted from her to Fluttershy, then the rainbows combined and aimed at Discord, who looked nothing short of alarmed

"NOOOOOOO" he shouted, before a blinding flash of light spread across the field, when the light cleared, the elements were repaired and inside a blue box, everything that was chaotic was turned back to normal.
