The empire is at a brink of an upcoming war. After the coronation of Charming Thunder, a top security vault in Canterlot has been raided by three of the members of Team Insanity and stole an Element of Insanity.

With the return of the Elements of Insanity, Twilight Sparkle heads to the ancient castle of the two Royal Pony Sisters to research on the history of the Elements of Insanity.

As a Star Destroyer returns to Canterlot for preparations for their defense against Lightning Dust, they came across strange activity coming from a strange orb and has begun to investigate....
