A wild typo cluster has appeared!
1: Quiet, not quite.
2.1: Comma instead of a period.
2.2: Missing end quotation mark.
3: Capitalize that lone I.
Okay, this chapter is giving me several serious red flags. Between Twilight's manic eagerness to examine Will, and that crash upstairs, I'm a little worried about what might be about to go down. Is Twilight going to go full Mad Scientist and force Will to infect her for science? Is she going to do something else to him with that big machine and the harnesses? Is she actually totally harmless and this is all just paranoia? Only God and the author knows!
Also, was that bit about Silver Stars implying a connection to your previous works, David? I haven't read any of them, so could we make sure to get some backstory on that if it comes up in the story? I don't remember a (former) human in Equestria being involved with the portal experiment until just now.
Gigadeaths, Twilight. That counts as a bad outcome.
ok I am really liking how this is going.
I am really dying to say I have a idea but I will not give out any possible spoiler.

It
6397806 Looks like I missed a couple.
What happened man! Will never wanted to harm Twi, did he?
I understand that almost anyone would be upset with Twi's miscalculation, but it wasn't even her fault! How could they know of the energy world that was between them when they couldn't even see them? It was an accidental, no one could have predicted that, so why is Will getting all worked up when he, of all ponies, is the very definition of forgiveness and is adapting to the change the best, to the point of almost enjoying it? no offence to the author.

Twilight accidentally killed billions with the results of her actions. That's before considering that a majority of the survivors have forgotten much of their former selves, so in a nontrivial sense, the pre-ponification humans are 'dead', even if their pony self lives on.
6399352 I understand, and I was a bit tired when I typed that.
but my point sill stands, she is innocent because no one could have seen that happening, they were looking for a world of biology not energy, how could have she have known that.
I was a bit upset with Will because he has shown to forgive even the most evil of people once they repented, Neon intestinally wanted to end the world, and now thanks to will, she is apart of the group that is going to save it.
we both know that if Twi knew of the energy world in between, then she wouldn't even thought of opening the portal without an alternate route.
I agree, that what she did ended with a terrible result, but blaming her is like blaming your computer for an unknown vires until it was too late.
6399414 Will had a moment of anger but did nothing, not even sharp words really.

It was this remark that set Will off. He already long since knew of her part in the disaster, and that it wasn't intentional. But she basically said:
Everyone you've ever known or loved, except the one you personally were able to save, either died or lost their memories, and your entire society was destroyed, and everyone who did get through it had a traumatic and terrifying time doing so, but is it really so bad? After all, you've made a nice family out of some of the survivors!
Will's end state is actually pretty good. I'd even be willing to argue his herd, personally, have it better now than if the disaster hadn't happened. But that doesn't really excuse waving off billions of deaths and mass memory loss, the dissolution of countless families, etc.
And in the end, he did let it pass and forgive her. No Twilights were strangled in the making of this chapter! He didn't even go off with a rant on her, forcing her to realize just how devastating her actions ultimately were. He could have easily done so, and arguably she literally asked for it. And it would have crushed her, because she has a good heart and strong conscience. But he didn't. He got mad for a moment, internally, and let it go.
6399497 sorry, see I have a strong sense of justice, (no I am not a super hero XD)
I just hate seeing Characters get blame for something that isn't really deserving, or when it isn't all that there fault.
Will just surprised me because he always seemed to be the level headed pony who would forgive anyone when they deserve it, sometimes when they don't.
he/she also has accepted what has happened and made the best of life despite of it, I just thought things wouldn't be so different when he met Twilight.
Sorry if I over reacted in your comments, it wasn't meant to be against anything on your story.
6400008 I'm not mad. I don't get upset easily usually, I am a bit confused why Will's internal and brief anger broke character.
Is this gonna be spoilers for the silver stars series?
6400938 Shouldn't be, besides what's already been shown. Silver's away, Twilight is heavy, Night Watch has a foal.
6396989 Fixed!
