I love you, America!
That pony… She breaks physics. You don't break physics, physics breaks you. I think I need to sit down… awsome right there
... This was literally the definition of stereotypical meetings. Bland, flavourless, and all goes literally perfect. And again, the pacing is too damn fast.
Also, unlike what most people would have you believe, Doing anything in a combat situation, isn't instinct. It's drill. Human instinct and Military drill, while classified as the same thing by hollywood, are completely different. Instinctively, someone would have just hit the deck. In a combat environment, you already know where good cover is, because you're always scanning, and then you hit the deck towards said cover.
Just a bit of knowledge for you, there.
(Canadian combat drill when coming under fire:
Double tap (in the direction of the enemy to show your platoon where the enemy is.)
Dash (4 paces towards the nearest cover)
Down (dive for cover)
Crawl (to a new position, so they don't lay down suppressive fire on you)
Observe (figure out where the enemy really is)
Communicate (tell everyone))
yes the rules and laws of gravity do break you but you don't break them
