A few days later
Matrix lay back on the grass in the park with silver sat on his haunches next to him his saddle bags at his side, mat knew what he had inside them, something that he was kind of uncomfortable with him having since it was a dangerous weapon, they sat there, watching over the three filly’s playing around with a ball, earlier that day the CMC asked if he wanted to play with them and since he nothing better to do so he agreed, now he was taking a break from running around with the energetic little filly’s, thinking about the last few days events.
‘so, now I managed to get back on rarity’s good side……….after volunteering to be a male model for a day………………….never again, also managed to get a time sorted with Luna to come to canterlot next week to sort the nightmares out…..hopefully, iv'e met up with vinyl to sort out my job timetable after almost getting trampled by a crowd of fans, took them a while heheh ,I also arranged with twilight and Tia to show them more about how my plane works and stuff Luna seemed quite intrigued with my laptop and the games I had on there, I wonder , what else was I gonna do…………oh yeah get my own house, I feel bad for having to constantly mooch of twilight, I’ll need to talk to her about it later’
His train of thought was interrupted as a sharp sting of pain erupted from his forehead, he quickly sat and rubbed his head with his hand “ow” he moaned as he saw the ball roll away from his feet, he heard laughter next to him so he turned his head and saw silver rolling on his back, laughing his ass of
“Shut up you tit” he said sarcastically, he then looked back to see applebloom, sweetiebelle and scootaloo all with sorry looking faces staring at him.
“I’m sorry mat, we didn’t mean to hit you” said sweetiebelle apologetically whilst scraping a hoof at the ground
“hey it’s ok I forgive you” it’s right, he was ok with plus how could anypony not forgive anything so adorable, certainly not him, it was one of his many weaknesses, one he knew he had to work on, when he saw the girls start to turn around and resume playing there game he sprang up and kicked the ball away from them before they could get it and sprinted of with it
“Hey no fair!” shouted scootaloo as they all chased after him
“trololololololololol” mat shouted back almost tripping over the ball as he turned around just in time to dodge the three girls diving at him, he then kicked the ball to silver who had joined in but the shot went wide and went into a tree where a loud shout came from it
“aggggghhhhhh what the buck!!” said the voice then at the same time somepony fell out from said tree and onto the ground, mat, the girls and silver ran over to the fallen pony to help and get a good look at him, from what could see, he was a dark blue Pegasus with a lighter blue and silver mane and tail, he couldn’t quite make out his cutie mark but that didn’t matter.
“Hey man, are you ok” he asked him
“Yeah I was until some moron woke me from my nap” he said as he rubbed his head with a hoof then turned to look to see who he was speaking too, he took one look at mat and his mouth dropped open
“Wait a minute, I’ve heard of you, your that human who’s been wondering around town, matrix right” he said
“Right you are my friend, sorry about ruining your sleep, what’s your name by the way”
“It’s fine, I was gonna get up anyway and my names frost storm”
“Cool, this here is my pal silver and these ‘innocent’ little angels are sweetiebelle, scootaloo and applebloom” the girls smiled at this and mat swore he could see halo’s appear above their heads
“Nice to meet you guys” frost said before his stomach grumbled loudly
“Someponys hungry, tell you what I’ll get us some lunch to make up for waking you sound good” said mat
“I’ll take you up on that” said storm
“You up for some grub silver” suggested mat
“If you’re buying” he replied
“it’s settled then, you girls don’t mind if us guy’s head of yeah”
“That’s ok matrix, we’re gonna go and do some crusading” said scootaloo, waving a hoof
“Fine by me then you girls have fun then”
“CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS GEM FINDERS GO!” they all shouted at the same time before running of in some random direction, matrix didn’t bother to think about what they could get up to as long as I didn’t involve him getting hurt. The possibilities of that happening to him, considerately high by his standards.
Mat, silver and there new found companion frost made their way towards sugarcube corner for lunch, they passed a few ponies, most waving at matrix for who he is then the odd one came up to him and gave her address to him, obviously a major fan, he blushed a bit at that and slipped the note into his back pocket then continued walking, silver saw his blush and tried to stifle his laughter since he knew that he was dating rainbow and how he was going to explain this to her later.
On the way, frost explained a bit about himself but he didn’t mention family or where he lived, not that silver or mat noticed, they eventually reached the desired building of choice, entering through the door making the bell toll, grabbing the attention of the residential party pony
“Hey there matty, are you here for lunch; it’s on the house since you’re a special friend” she said with her signature smile that everypony was accustomed to,
“Sure am pink’s but I insist on paying” he replied, pinkie had quickly learned how stubborn mat could be when pony’s offered
mat free stuff as he always insisted on paying them but sometimes he gave in, something she and the other girls found quite humble, she gave in to him and simply said
“Ok matty what would you like?”
Mat gave her the guy’s orders before sitting down on a table near the window with his companions whilst pinkie went off into the kitchen, having still unnoticed there new companion
“So frost you were saying before………frost………..frost, what are you looking at?” asked mat as frost was simply staring at the other side of the room where another pegasi and a unicron where sitting, specifically at the one who was wearing an odd looking robe, from what mat could see he had a white coat while the ends of his hoofs and muzzle and wings were black , he had red eyes and a spikey red and black mane and tail, his companion sported a White coat with yellow short spiked mane and tail, he wore a black vest and black boots which was odd because pony’s rarely ever whore clothing unless it was for a special event or something like that or if they were a guard
*click**click* mat snapped his finger’s in frosts face to get his attention
“What the bloody hell is wrong mate it looks like you’ve seen a ghost or something?”
“I can’t believe it” said frost as he quickly got up from his seat and made his way over the table where the two pegasi were sitting
“this doesn’t look good” said mat to silver as they both got up as well and followed frost, as frost neared the table the black robed Pegasus turned his head towards him and just stared blankly at him, frost’s face was a mixture of anger, sadness and hate, what mat and silver didn’t expect next was that frost threw a punch at the Pegasus’s face and proceeded to continue hitting him but was stop as he was pulled back by the human standing behind, mat turned his head towards the Pegasus who’s nose was starting to bleed
“Are you ok there mate” he asked him
“Yeah I should be fine, that wasn’t the kind of welcome I’m used to but none the less” he said not even bothered about the human in front of him
“Ok then now storm what the fuck do you think you are doing!” exclaimed mat
“You would have done the exact same thing if your ‘brother’ left your family for ten years!” he shouted back trying to break from the humans grip
“Whoa whoa whoa, he’s your brother” mat said in disbelief as he turned back to the bleeding Pegasus who nodded then spoke
“Indeed I am his brother, hello frost, long time no see”
“split second, ten years, ten bucking years ago you left me and mum and dad, now you have the decency to come back, why, just why, and who’s your friend!”
“This here is subtle rampage, nice fellow, and now back to the conversation before hoof”
“well this is a little awkward I’m gonna go get my food and get going to the library while you two sort this crap out okay, I’ll be back later” mat butted in as he rushed back over to his table with silver in tow they both grabbed their food to go while mat paid for it, they then both headed out the door and headed towards the library to lets the two pegasi sort there difference’s out , he didn’t to get involved in something that wasn’t his business
Ten minutes later
Matrix and silver were almost at the door to the library but not before silver heard a high pitched whistle like noise
“do you hear that” he asked matrix as mat reached for the door handle, mat stopped and listened to the sound, it sounded like a airplane crashing from one of those old cartoons, he knew what it was, we waited until the right moment and spun around caught rainbow upside down, flipped her upright them lowered her onto her hoofs, rainbow lifted a hoof towards mat and said
“You see that, it’s called awesome” she said to silver who was sitting on the floor mouth open as he just witnessed matrix’s perception skills
“That was nothing” mat simply said as he strolled into the library shouting out
“Hey twilight you in here”
“Yes I’ll be down in a second”
“Alright I’ll be down here” he answered, he walked over to the sofa and sat down with rainbow lying on top of him, her head buried into his chest, he kissed her on the forehead while silver sat on the other end of the sofa
“Why are we here again?” asked silver
“I need to talk to twilight about getting my own house, I feel kinda bad that she’s has to keep up with my antics and that she has been my host for the last week or so, so I want to get my own home”
“You could always stay with me” rainbow joined in on the conversation
“Thanks dashie but I can’t get up to your cloud home, thanks for the thought though” he said as she looked a bit defeated but then an idea came to her mind but she would speak it later
“Oh hello matrix what can I help you with” came twilight’s voice from behind him, he and silver looked behind them the find the purple mare standing there with a book in her magical grasp, mat just smiled while silver just stared…………just stared.
“Oh hey twilight, I came to see if you know anything about buying a house in town do you”
“I’m sorry mat, I don’t but I think the next best pony to ask would be mayor mare at the town hall”
“well thanks for your time then twi I’ll be of then” he said as he got up to leave with rainbow and silver tow, he got to the door but it quickly opened into his face knocking his over
“Honestly can I go a day where I ‘don’t’ get knocked on my ass” he said rubbing his face
“MATRIX, MATRIX YOU GOT TO HELP US!” shouted a young voice whose owner just happened to be…..sweetiebelle’s?
Matrix sat up and looked towards the little filly with applebloom at her side but where was scootaloo?
“Girls what wrong” he asked them who now where beginning to form tears in their eyes
“scootaloo…….she’s been pony napped”
“Oh ok…………wait WHAT THE FUCK” he exclaimed
Matrix POV
“Oh ok………..wait WHAT THE FUCK” I shouted as I heard the words leave her mouth
“Ok explain to me exactly what happened” I spoke with utter seriousness in my voice
“w-w-w-well we were going gem hunting for our cutie marks in the same place where rarity always goes for her gems, I tried to use the same spell that she used but It didn’t work, so we try digging for a bit, that’s when they came, the d-d-diamond dog’s they just came out of the ground and tried to hurt us, we got away but they grabbed scootaloo before she got away, that’s when we came here for help” she said before she broke down crying
‘Where have I heard of diamond dogs before…………ah yes that one episode…..now I remember, well are they in for a surprise’
Don’t worry sweetie I’m going to get her back” I said as I jumped to my feet the ran for my room, bolting down the stairs, I instantly went into my rucksack and found what I was looking for, I pulled out my guns and strapped them to my hips, then I took out my knife and strapped its sheath across my chest, I then took of my trainers and put on my combat boots, I pulled out my iPod from my rucksack also and shoved it into my pocket.
I felt like I was ready to take on the world, I then bolted back up the stairs where my friends were waiting, they saw me and looked at me with different expressions on their faces, twilight took a glance at the weaponry I had on me and gave a an odd look, rainbow saw the knife and looked at me the same way, silver knew what I was planning because he knew what the metal objects at my sides where, I walked over to the door where it opened and in flew a blue-ish grey Pegasus, right into my face, it was ditzy, why is she crying
“Ditzy what’s wrong?” I asked her
“T-t-t-they took her, my little muffin, they took my little dinky”
“Who took her” I pressed he for more info
“t-t-t-the diamond dogs” she cried
“WHAT! Tell me what happened
“I-I-I-I was taking a break from my mail rounds near the gem mines on my way to miss rarity’s house, I had dinky with me in my saddle bag since I couldn’t find a foal sitter, I let her out for a second while I went to get a snack from my bags when I heard her scream, then I saw her being carried away by them” she cried in her hooves as I gave her a sympathetic hug, I then put her down and turned to face everypony
“All of you stay here, I’ll be back”
“Were coming with you” said silver
“You bloody well are not” I spoke I then turned back to sweetie belle who had managed to stop crying
“Which way is the gem mines”
She pointed out the door in the direction of them; I then sprinted out the door trying to get there as quick as I could, leaving everypony back in the library
“Those bastards are gonna be in a whole world of shit” I said out loud as I kept sprinting at full speed
here's another quick one for ya and hey i finally got the guys in here at last though only briefly they things will get into more detail later also i just want to say that the episode's are all jumbled up so they may not exactly follow the time line but i will try to keep to it at some time but it will mostly be jumbled up....................i'm like that sometimes so don't judge me
