Fluttershy being her mom was kind of predictable unless theres more twists to it.

I'd be more awesome if one of Dash's experiments while she was pulling a Nanase, and feeling like she was too young to have a kid + it potentially ruining her ambition to be a Wonderbolt. As well as her not being as mature as Ditzy Doo gave her up for adoption. That and you don't sleep with all of Cloudsdale and Ponyville without some consequences.

That and I can't see Flutters abandoning a child, not when she's overly motherly with her animals. But I'm excited to see who Scoots real parents are.
