After the Fall, women are oppressed. Put enough pressure on someone and they will push back, harder than they ever might have before. These are tales of women pushing back.
It seems like no one is writing now. The odd weather must have stretched further than I thought.
Glad you liked it. This story and the next are a demonstration of a neglected consideration: the children. What becomes of children in an overly sexualized world? Especially when one gender is enslaved? A skeevy, creepy thought.
I think they suffer the same fate as the adults. One idea I had for my planned—though probably will never be written—story outlining how this would never happen because ponies are not stupid and weak, is Thunderlane being captured by rebels and given the most bitter curse possible: freedom of mind. And he has to remember how he laughed and taunted Rumble as he dragged him—kicking, crying, and screaming—to a "Reassingment camp," the place where the caribou turn traitors and un-brainwashed stallions into mares.
52232275223303 Soon as I get this chapter written, my next story arc focuses on Rarity, and what kind of situation Sweetie Belle is in is a major concern. Of course, I'm putting the CMC at the dangerous age where they're on the verge of being considered full-fledged mares. (From the caribou's perspective at least.)
Yes, it is indeed "a skeevy, creepy thought" when put into perspective; of course, in places such as here, it's almost impossible in the same form as the Grand Theft Auto series the longer we think about it.
One thing is clear though: we will never stop writing no matter how much and/or often we feel like calling it quits...
It's a concept I can get behind. I alluded to something like it but left it an implication. When the Arch-Magus mentions the enchantment on the Black Knight's knife he mentions the way the world was. Later in "The Great Locutor" there is a stallion with a scar on his forehead. The idea is that a careful and slow press of the knife will cut through the brainwashing. The unspoken other side is that going to fast will flood the released mind with every last memory all at once, ratherthan discreet and bearable chunks. So suddenly someone has their old sense of shame, morality and empathy back and must remember every sociopathic thing they did. Gibbering insanity would be the best case scenario.
Ya know, I need to get writing.
Good one.

My feels! It isn't even written yet and already, my feels! (But given things like "Revelatory Filly Skydance" that is hardly surprising.)
