After the Fall, women are oppressed. Put enough pressure on someone and they will push back, harder than they ever might have before. These are tales of women pushing back.
Ha! Oh, this was awesome. I gotta say, I usually see the griffons as being more Germanic, but Irish is a refreshing take.
What I love about your stories is the level of realism you bring. That's what, I think, makes Fallverse fans so upset: you simply make the Caribou more real, as far as them being violent. It only makes sense with the way they treat women during sex and their views on gender that thy would be more prone to violence and sadism. Fallverse fans can say all they want they're not, but it is logical. Plus, the little cultural touches you bring to the table: calling them "Does," the other references to the Irish traditions. Tell me, did you do actual research on the IRA for this, or just run a few phrases through google translate?
Either way, very satisfying, and realistic depiction of how the world would respond to such an offensive culture taking over the most peaceful nation on the planet.
