Life is a game, you just need to know how to play it. I learned it the hard way, even if not in the World I was actually born in.

yay an update.. now i have to wait a while for the next one
Damn you're good. I like this Zecora very much.
Find Tartarus by looking through gov records for areas where the land is unowned and attempts to purchase the land by nobles have been denied, or something along those lines? You can't have your people living near hell.
and Zecorra shows how badflank she is
Also nice to see that the gamer powers are not all powerful and that they can be either countered or snuck up on,
can't wait for the next chapter
that mana drain powder could be very useful.
You are basically assembling the Avengers here! They're all so god damn powerful; and I love it! Great chapter, I cannot wait to see more of the dream team.
this reminded me of luna's dreamwalking. all of jessica's friends are going through great changes in their lifes, which leads to stress and can cause chaotic dreams. maybe they get luna's attention and she watches their memories about moon dancer and confronts her about her intentions. once she learns that moon dancer isn't a threat to equestria, she could agree to keep her secret and become friends. it would be interesting to have jessica be friends with someone with so much more knowledge and life experience.
or maybe moon dancer reveals to her friends how she ascended and her nightmare form. they still love her but are shocked nonetheless and have nightmares. luna sees them and fears the nightmare's return. jessica is unaware and suddenly luna, celestia and the mane six with elements appear in front of her house and want to purify her.
this story really inspires my imagination. i love it. thank you for writing and sharing it and please forgive the word-vomit above
I hope she can become queen of the pirates. Minus a funimation opening.
7705100 An excellent idea, with only one vital flaw: Tartarus's gate is in the Everfree Forest, as suggested at when Twilight brought Cerberus there to put him back in the episode, It's About Time...

and then the elements give her another power boost as she's on their side + The Gamer... I can see her evolving or gaining a [Seraph Mode]
Best I could find:

Dark is Not Evil.trope
Light is Not Good.trope

Yeah, I can stand behind that. Though it's good form to remember that, while correlation doesn't imply causation, there's statistical evidence to support the probability - light is typically good, and dark is typically evil.
But yeah. Celestia - and, on the whole, Twilight - sees "good" more in terms of "status quo" than actual goodness. Maybe while Celestia would be more open to the idea - though it's sometimes a toss-up, overall - Twilight wouldn't be quite as open-minded about it, I feel. She'd be brought on-board eventually, but not before her antics caused issues.
You know, it's suprisingly easy to see the flaws in pony society the moment you're standing outside of it? I mean, it's not like these issues weren't visible before, but when you look at it from the outside - they're glaringly obvious.
Then again, it's not that easy to fault the show itself for this, you know? I mean, it's meant to be understandable and relatable (to an extent...) by young girls, for heaven's sake. And it's not like it glosses over the issues, either - a more mature mind will make note, I think. The show also points some issues out, though in a fairly naive manner. In the end, I can't help but wonder if the intention wasn't to give the parents something to chew on while watching it with their kids, you know?
Besides, it's more of a "coming of age" thing, I guess. Twilight is by no means perfect, and Celestia really does gamble on Twi learning from all of the trouble she winds up dragged into (or outright starts) by not meddling directly. I mean, in retrospect you can tell the grooming from a mile away. It might not've been "kicking and screaming", but some kicking and screaming was definitely involved... ;]
