When Cinny published her first book, she hadn't expected it to be so popular or to find herself in the position of being herdmother to one of the ponies she wrote about. There are some sins a colourful hat just can't cover.
I probably mentioned it before, need to say it again, with or without the sex scenes i really like this fic because it's one of the very few ones that actually elaborate on this totally alien family group in a SOL kindda way, especially because it's dealing with an already established one and it's more of a family drama than a typical dime a dozen romance story, which I find very refreshing. It helps that all the characters in it are so unique to this setting. I'm glad that it's still going, I must admit i was afraid it was abandoned for a while.
I must admit, I'm enjoying this story, although you are a bit of a tease with the sex scenes. It's nice to see these Slice of Life works that get to spend their time expanding upon the world and relationships of Xenophilia instead of trying to fill it with too much drama and adventure.
I did notice that a couple of times in this chapter, you use the word "empathize" meaning to share someone else's feelings, or put yourself in somepony else's horseshoes, when I believe you meant to use "emphasize" which is to give prominence to something.
"Well, that's not quite right- there are ponies that do, but they're a rather limited demographic, and I was going for a broader appeal..."

I look forward to seeing more of this story.
