Slight derp-up on my part. Briefly published the newest Dueling Keyboards short in Group Precipitation instead. Which, given the subject matter, is actually kind of appropriate. (The mistake, that is.) In any case, it's where it belongs now. My apologies for any confusion.

I had one of those pesky ideas that just doesn't want to expand to two kilowords. As such, onto Dueling Keyboards it goes. Enjoy.

Got an idea and struck while the inspiration was fresh. It's technically long enough to qualify for individual publication, but I don't like putting up anything that isn't at least two thousand words on its own. As such, it's the latest Dueling Keyboards short. Bear in mind that there will be spoilers for the end of "Spring Breakdown."

One of the fun things we do during Writeoff Competitions is making mashups, blending together the titles of two or more entries and summarizing the plot of the result. You may recall one option of the latest Thought Dissection blog was a story entitled Full-Court Press, a post-"The Crystalling" press conference. horizon made a very good point about how it was a time-sensitive concept, so I started fleshing it out. I updated Dueling Keyboards, my compilation of very short stories, with... well, I'm not really sure how to describe it. There's headcanon, Twilight and Celestia interaction, Sunset Shimmer, and...

Between programming and YouTube binging, I've had little time or creative energy for ponywords lately. Still, I've been able to get out a Dueling Keyboards short with a little Friendship Games headcanon. Blame/thank PresentPerfect for giving me the nudge.
