You know that feeling when you see a family having a picnic on the train tracks? And you're just out of earshot... and they're all blind and deaf and they can't feel rumbling. Yeah... this is a bit like that.
I am so behind on the show, by at least two seasons. And the movie comes out today!
As the last of Songbird Serenade's performance concluded and oddly plasma-shaped fireworks thundered over Canterlot, the crowd of Equestrian denizens applauded loudly with hoof stamps. Among them were a green stallion with a find-the-difference picture for a Cutie Mark and a blue stallion with an unidentified curio for a Cutie Mark, the former of which kept rubbing his overdeveloped cheeks every once in a while.
"Well, that was a great concert!" The blue stallion said at the end.
Hello everybody DaveMan1000 here with a full review of the film I was excited for the most this year: My Little Pony: The Movie.
Now this movie has received a lot of slack from "professional" critics, who basically threw together half-asred rambles/rants and passed them off as reviews, simply because they didn't want to talk about it, but now had to otherwise they wouldn't get paid.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to Bronies. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, between friendship and magic. It lies between the pit of Bronies’ fears and the summit of their knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call...
Just recently on Youtube I stumbled upon a relatively-still-unknown series put out by Screen Rant called "Pitch Meeting", in which one guy plays both a movie producer and a screenwriter trying to pitch a movie to him with hilarious (and truthful) results. And since I figure he'll never get around to doing this one, I figured I might as well. Please go watch it on Youtube. It's very funny and surprisingly clean (for the most part).
I’m warning everyone RIGHT. NOW. THERE WILL BE MAJOR SPOILERS! I
Last chance to turn back…. Beyond this is spoiler territory… everybody ready?
OK then… let’s begin:
The Story:
Just got back from the first screening of the movie and y'know what? It was pretty good. It wasn't ground-breaking or anything, but as a classic-style family adventure film, I enjoyed it. It was also undeniably cool to see the production staff's name up on the big screen.
Spoilery thoughts below the break!
Finally, after waiting for a year or more (depending on when the news released to each person) the My Little Pony movie finally hit the theaters on October 6, 2017. What A fantastic movie I must say. I saw it the night before with a friend, and then saw it another 5-7 times with friends in our local state brony groups. After seeing it a few good times, I have an astounding blog review of the movie.
I can't really explain it, but when I got to the first chorus, I started smiling big. Yeah I been kinda low today, yet it was something about listening to this particular song (which I haven't done in about a year I think) that just made me smile for no reason.
In (possibly) unrelated news, does anyone know when MLP season 9 is coming to Netflix? Also I may have a story update soon.
Greetings my Brony Brethren!
It’s been some time since I’ve done a speculation blog, and I feel it’s been a bit overdue. So, without any further ado, here’s some more conclusions I can jump to based on some the recent MLP news we’ve gotten.
