So, yeah, I've decided to start speedrunning CoD WW2 and did my first IL (individual level) run last night after a practice session. The time could be improved in many different ways, but for my first time I'm rather happy with it.

Y'know, this little series of laggy speedruns is actually pretty fun to do, aside from the whole "everything I know and love causes great pain" part.

This is our first ever completed speedrun of Downwell, one of our favorite games of all time. It is not a very popular game for speedrunning, and as such, our in-game-time (IGT) gets us the 11th spot on the leaderboard. Regardless of the objective prestige of this fact, we find it to be incredibly heart-warming and comforting.

In Downwell, the music for the first stage doesn't start until you land on a surface or kill an enemy. If you use the little junk-pieces at the side of the level, you can bounce through the entire first stage without triggering the music at all. You also don't have to kill any of the cute little creatures, which is a nice bonus.

we recently started practicing 1st frame wallkicks in super mario 64 for no real reason other than we like them. our record so far is 13.

the same day, we were playing an sm64 romhack (The Green Comet), and to get one of the stars, instead of the intended method, we did four first frame wallkicks in a row
