"ONE VOTE?"
I've been seeing a lot of people comment on how Diamond Tiara lost to Pip by one vote, and then confronted Silver Spoon about not voting for her.
A lot of people seem to have forgotten how secret ballots work.
Folks, Diamond Tiara didn't lose by one vote.
Diamond TIara only GOT one vote.
Her own.
That's how she knew Silver Spoon voted for Pip.
Because nopony voted for Diamond Tiara except Diamond Tiara.
The episode opens with Twilight being a big nerd and having a nerdcation.
Season 5 started after a lengthy hiatus, had lots of highs and lows, took a ridiculously long mid-season break, and had the season finale spoiled by the last scene of Friendship Games. We've seen some incredible changes to the status quo this season, including the Cutie Mark Crusaders finally getting their Cutie Marks, character development for Diamond Tiara, and the announcement of Cadance's pregnancy.
And now, here we are, ending the season the same way it began:
Warning. This post is all over the place.
And with the finale, Season 5 comes to a close, and the hiatus begins today. But how did Season 5 stack up in comparison to the others, and why do I like it so much? Who wants to see Emerald talk to herself because no-pony reads these, but she likes posting them anyway? In short:
5 < 2 < 4 < 3 <1
In long? Well, here I go.
Warning: Spoilers from The Cutie Re-Mark abound. Proceed with caution.
Holidays are coming up, and a lot of people are writing lists of what presents they want. Well, I've got a list of my own. And this one's for DHX regarding Season 6. I don't know if they'll ever read it or not, but hey, I'd at least like to get my thoughts out there. So, here's what I would like to see in Season 6:
1. Fleshed-Out Starlight Glimmer
And we're back! With SEASON! SEVEN!
Who ever thought we'd come this far? The pony! Will last! FOREVER!!
This episode is about Maud Pie.
Hey, kids! Remember "Fall Weather Friends"?
Here's a sequel to that episode, with Rarity and the CMC this time!
Well, kind of. More of a spiritual successor.
EDIT: Save the Cheerileader, save Equestria.
I heard that Season 6 has started so I tried to look it up online. Luckily I did find the episodes without much difficulty and with the very little time I had. So I watched it and I have to admit it was better than I expected. Now I won't be able to write a full review of it till I get back to Canada, but I will say this... Shining Armor is gonna need a lot of advice for being a father.
In which Bill Shatner reminds us that he's an actor, not a joke other actors make, and the status of Ma and Pa Apple is FINALLY confirmed after seven long years. Oh, and there's a heartbreakingly bittersweet love story.
So season 5 is over..... Great season
Anyone have there countdown ready for season 6?
I do!
Any of you think this sounds kind of...weird....
It's not at all what I expected.... A whole season centered around these two characters
Also Pinkie was listed as a villain
Bout time she murders somepony
Oh yea also my account is acting strange...
In which the Cutie Mark Crusaders answer a booty call.
I hope this is not the last season, its obvious the writers are losing steam, ten episodes in this season and the last one is aj's day off. Probably will be as worthless as the season opening. I don't want the show to get canceled, I want the writers to start writing like they did in season four, and season two, and even season one. They all had a certain charm to them, which is gone now. Just like sponge bob, family guy and all those other great shows. My, how time changes things.
The mid-season hiatus is upon us. So, how was the first half of the fifth season?
In which we get a do-over of "Sleepless in Ponyville". And Fly-ders.
In which the regular series writers show the movie writers how it's supposed to be done.
