So, yeah! I’m gonna stop making promises about stories I intend to write, because usually my ideas fall flat and I change my mind, or I just never even get started writing them. So, from now on, I will only mention new stories when I already have a decent amount written, and am about ready to publish.

So it is that we come to the end of another batch of episodes for Make Your Mark, sure seems like they just fly by don't they? I probably don't need to say it by now, but especially considering what this episode means going forward I'm going to say it anyway.
So, after two big four part arcs came and went, the comics decided it was time to do something different and they sure did: Two parter, slice of life stories. And this first one was going to be focused on Big Macintosh, entitled "Zen and the Art of Gezebo Repair". Considering the first arc was very rough around the edges and the second arc wasted an interesting concept on questionable writing choices, was this shift to more slice of life stuff for the best? Well, let's find out.
So here it is, the final chapter of Make Your Mark. From this point onward, the G5 franchise is going solely with the YouTube Kids shorts series Tell Your Tale. For the record, I haven't watched any of the episodes of Tell Your Tale yet, and I have no desire to do so. Like with the Equestria Girls spin-off shorts, five minutes is not enough time to tell any meaningful stories. And Tell Your Tale's animation and art style have made it perfectly clear that it's a low production values series. So

Well, it's official, "Make Your Mark" is dead. And G. M. Berrow, the G5 showrunner, has left Hasbro. As of yet, no explanation has been given as to her deparation, it could be entirely unrelated to G5. Still, given that she was involved with G4 first with chapter books (including a short lived Daring Do series) and then with episodes, and even voiced Zoom Zephyrwing in "A New Generation", it's sad to see her leave.
After "Campfire Tales", the next several episodes got bumped around in terms of airdate compared to production order. This episode was the nineteenth episode in production order, but was the seventeenth to air. While the CMC shined pretty well this season, I think it's safe to say that their group dynamic has gotten a tad bit stale. Individually we have a good sense of their personalities, but they seldom seem to be at odds over the problem facing them. I already made this list once before, after Season 6 ended, but there are a few changes that I felt warranted a revisiting of this list (the reason why I didn't touch the CMC or the princesses in ranking here, is because none of my opinions on them
