Just remembered that I still haven't finished the 1-year anniversary OC-special sidestory to Pony-Me.
I've just been far too busy to really pay much attention to anything I've been writing.
Just remembered that I still haven't finished the 1-year anniversary OC-special sidestory to Pony-Me.
I've just been far too busy to really pay much attention to anything I've been writing.
'cause with how tired i've been constantly with college back in full swing, writing progress has slowed to an absolute crawl.
I'm debating whether I should bring back Pony-Me's old format of writing a substory using chapter names, or if I should port over Splintershard's Major-minor story arc format, with each chapter instead having a short free-verse poetry snippet as a header.
Yeah, not gonna try teasing anything anymore at this point. Genuine feedback is honestly going to be more useful at this point than messing around. While this won't be the exact post I'll be asking for it in, future blogs likely will contain spoilers as a side-effect of talking about certain characters, events, or settings.
Took a while, but I did it. Story likely won't reach Pony-Me levels as far as length goes, and it really doesn't have the same sort of connections in it as the ones I made in Pony-Me. I just don't feel dedicated enough to the story. :P
Also, most recent chapter takes place entirely outside of MLP. Next chapter should probably turn back to the pony side of things for a bit.
I'm talking Pony-MeTM here. It was literally supposed to be maybe a 5-chapter or so multi-chapter one-shot, but what happens instead?
I begin building more and more into the story, pushing the ending further and further back, to the point where I'm quite confident that this'll last at the least a good 15+ chapters, complete with 3 planned endings that branch off chronologically, and an entirely new writing style that was meant only as an experimental tweak.
So...
And oh boy, is it gonna have a twist...
Feel free to send guest chapters via PM, or post them in the official Pony-Me Discord server!
With how much has been revealed in the latest chapters, I'd like to see your guys' take on the direction of the story!
Just remember:
Keep the chapter at the same rating as the story.
Self-inserts/OCs are allowed.
Adding new places is fine as well.
Other than that, happy writing!
Kinda realized that it was a bit short, so I added some more so that it'd flow better into the next chapter.
EDIT: Holy crap. Somehow I managed to forget to actually paste the thing in here.
Elizabeth Waters stifled a yawn, glancing up from her computer’s monitor, then at the digital clock hanging on the wall.
“Hm.” She snorted, folding her arms, “Lunch break already.”
Chapter 2 is the first of my stockpile of pre-written chapters. I'll likely be spending some time rewriting the later chapters that I've written, mainly because they just don't work.
Nearly forgot that my 4-year anniversary on this site is nearly here.
Sorry, I don't have much to post this time around. I've just been too busy for much. My best bet would be to try and steer Pony-Me's completion to that day, though I'm not sure whether or not I'd be capable of doing so, especially with some recent setbacks I've had.
"Twi-light."
Twilight groaned under her blankets.
"Twiii-light!"
Another groan.
That's all I'm gonna say. There's some biiiig stuff that I've got planned that'd otherwise wreck the story's existing continuity. :P
'Cause I might have a new cover for Pony-Me rolling out in the future.
At the moment, the current cover art is pretty simple, being silhouettes with accents of Lisa and Twilight's hair/mane colors.
The cover art design still keeps much of the duality, but swaps out the silhouettes for their actual faces and bodies, with slightly different positioning as well.
Thoughts?

One of the multiple recurring conflicts throughout Pony-Me, the conflict of whether or not Twilight should return to the simulation, will be wrapping up and resolving within the next couple of chapters. In its place will be a new story arc focusing on Lisa and Samantha's lives after the simulation, which will take place at the beginning of Part 3.
Basic synopsis of Part 3 provided below the break for those eager to know.
Looking at the at most lukewarm (not to mention spam-targeted) reception of Into Equestria a week into its publishing, I think I'm going to start over from scratch. I'm sorry for any of you who might've been looking forward to the story after all the teasers I posted of it.
To begin, some of the things I've pinpointed that might potentially be the causes of issue, is that:
Give or take a few minutes, of course. Greenwich Mean Time is the best I can do for a universal timestamp, and GMT 6:00 AM is equivalent to MST (Mountain Time) 12:00 AM, which is typically when I tend to publish.
Thank you to all who've stuck with me for this crazy 1.5-year long journey of a story. And as always, keep reading.
it's just that all this free time that's been dumped on me with summer break has put me in a tinkering mood instead and now my room is eternally swamped in computer parts again
