"Goddamnit Griff!" Ramirez yelled in frustration as she tossed her controller on the ground "you cost us the win!"
"No, you did! all you did was camp inside a building with that ridiculously modified Ak doing nothing while I stormed them head-on!" Griff retorted, looking equally frustrated as his marefriend.
“Yeah, you should’ve seen his face when that happened. It was almost like he—” Bezier cut herself off when she saw a familiar changeling sitting at a faraway table all by herself.
Today isn’t a good day for Ramirez, even though she had gotten over it a long time ago she couldn’t help missing her parents alot. She now had her head laid across the table with her earbuds in.
“Hey Griff” Ramirez said as she slouched onto her couch.
“Hm?” Griff replied as he laid onto the ground.
“How was work?”
he yawned “Exhausting...I feel dead and super tired...”
“Same...you gonna sleep?”
“Yeah...but I’m gonna stay on the floor for a bit...”
After putting away the last dish she was washing she went into the living room where her foals Zinc, Thumbtack, and Amber were playing around while Star sat on the couch reading a book (something about a babysitter being stalked by a mental patient).
“Hiya Star! finished washing the dishes!” Rami said as she took a seat next to her husband.
“Griff!” Ramirez shouted happily as she approached the pony, carrying Zinc on her back “hey Griff!”
“Yeah? what is it?” he asked as Rami sat Zinc down.
“I got a neat trick to show you!” she replied, wagging her tail along with Zinc.
“Oh? does it include Zinc?”
“Mhm!”
“Well, let me see”
“hey Star!” Ramirez shouted so that Star could hear over the loud music playing “why did you bring me here?”
Star had decided to bring Ramirez to her first party since she can't just lock herself in her home all day, plus she could use some fun once in a while “because you could use a good party and also I wanted to spend more time with you since you lock yourself in your house for a fuck ton of hours!”
“Hey Rami, if you could have anything in the world what would it be?” Hero asked.
“The same thing my dad has! and I already have it!” Ramirez replied as she smiled and wagged her tail.
“Oh? what is it?”
*Fortunate son starts playing and gets a flashback*
“Uhhhh...”
Ramirez sat in a chair looking at a picture she had of Nox, it had been like what? 7 days since the breakup? she couldn’t remember since she spent most of her time drinking cider (which she is right now) and crying about what went wrong ‘of course nothing good last...nothing ever does...’ she thought as she threw away the empty bottle of cider.
another boring day on the job, Ramirez sat on her stool thinking about stuff while also wishing for something and I mean something! to happen. Ramirez was wiping the counter with a towel when she saw two familiar faces come by.
“so, how are you guys?” Ramirez asked as her husband Star along with Hero took a seat at the counter.
“bored” Hero replyed.

Ngl the fries with the mayo and ketchup along with some Faygo cola is bussin, I also need to organize my stuff because my desk looks like shit.

“can I have some fries?” *starts sniffing in the air*
Thumbtack was sad to see his father go, he wanted him to stay longer and play but he understand that he has another family to take care of and be with. he smiled and waved at him through the window, wondering when the next time he'll come back to play again.
“Hey Star! I’m back!” Ramirez said happily as she entered her home and closing the door behind her, almost immediately she was hugged tightly by Star.
“Ramirez! I missed you!” he said happily as well, giving her a little kiss.
she giggled in response “are the kids okay?” she asked.
“Star! Griff!” Ramirez shouted happily as she ran up to both of them “how are you guys?
“Um...good but...who are you and how do you know my name?” Star asked, tilting his head and trying to remember if he met the changeling before.
“Same with him, who are you? do I know you from somewhere?”
“Thank you, come again!” Ramirez waved at her most recent customer who was now walking out the door. Today had been a good day for her, not many ponies have come by so she had enough time to call her husband and check up on her kids.
She was about to do exactly that when the ringing of the bell above the door caught her attention. Putting her phone away, she got back onto her stool and greeted her next customer. “Welcome! How can I help… you…” she trailed off upon seeing who it was.
“So, Ramirez, you haven’t met Pharynx yet?”
“Honestly, no, I haven’t.”
“Ramirez is your name, eh? Heh, Dad told me about you a few times. Though I honestly expected you to be… taller.” *he snickered.*
“…Seriously?” -.-‘
“You’re certainly one to talk, Pharynx, considering how you’re at least a foot shorter than your own younger brother.”
“help! somepony help me! I dont wanna drown!” Ramirez screamed as she clung onto a floaty for dear life, meanwhile, on the beach, her stallionfriend (soon to be husband) Star along with her friend Melody sat near the water under the shade of the umbrella watching Ramirez continuing to scream in fear.
“should I go out and help her or...” Star asked.
“yeah you should” melody replied.
1 week before the crash...
“Alright! which one of you guys snuck into my room at night and put me in this!” Ramirez said sternly.
in front of her are Hero, Melody, and Griff who are trying their best to not burst into laughter. apparently, somepony had snuck into her room at night and put her in a taco costume with ‘small angry taco’ written on the side.
“Hey Rami? I’m here” Griff said as he entered the little changeling’s home.
“I’m in my room!” Ramirez yelled from upstairs.
Looking around the home finding it empty he shrugs, Griff makes his way upstairs towards her room. wondering what Ramirez has in store for him.
