another boring day on the job, Ramirez sat on her stool thinking about stuff while also wishing for something and I mean something! to happen. Ramirez was wiping the counter with a towel when she saw two familiar faces come by.
“so, how are you guys?” Ramirez asked as her husband Star along with Hero took a seat at the counter.
“bored” Hero replyed.
“same as him,” Star said as he smirked and winked at the little changeling, only receiving a blush in return.
“w-wait, a-and the kids?” she asked, still blushing.
“dont worry about them, they are both asleep and you and I know how hard it is to wake them up. let alone on how long they tend to sleep” he replied with a small chuckle.
“so Rami, anything happening here?”
“I wish! that's why I’m bored right now, well I was until you two showed up” Ramirez immediately threw both of her hooves into the air, smiling and wagging her tail.
both Hero and Star smiled at the happy changeling, it's kinda cute when she goes into a happy mood or something. “hey guys, you want anything to order?” she asked as she took out a notepad.
they both stared at each other before turning towards Rami “CheeseCake!”
writing it down on her notebook she smiled before hopping off her stool and going into the kitchen, a minute later she returned and got back onto her stool again “well...looks like we’re going to have to wait...”
“Awwwww...”
“I know I know, I hate it too. but in the meantime, what should we do?”
thinking to himself, Star was trying to figure out how to pass the time. and then it hit him, he looked at his wife before he started to bang his hoof on the counter.
knowing what he was doing Ramirez began to sing along with the beat “they say that in the army! the pay is mighty fine!”

catching onto them, Hero also began to sing along with Star ”they gave a hundred dollars! and took back 99!”

just wanted to make something out of boredom and to get my mind off of things, gonna microwave a burrito later...things are still not good but fuck it, I gotta stay on the positive instead of the negative. keep moving forward, ignore that ugly hot mess.
