“Thank you, come again!” Ramirez waved at her most recent customer who was now walking out the door. Today had been a good day for her, not many ponies have come by so she had enough time to call her husband and check up on her kids.

She was about to do exactly that when the ringing of the bell above the door caught her attention. Putting her phone away, she got back onto her stool and greeted her next customer. “Welcome! How can I help… you…” she trailed off upon seeing who it was.

Walking up to the small changeling was a light blue reformed changeling. One with a glittery deep blue gossamer mane and bright blue eyes.

“Whoa…” Ramirez said to herself quietly, it has been a while since she saw another one of her kind.

The changeling laid back and shut his eyes, waiting for a response. “…Well?”

“S-sorry about that! H-hi! Welcome to the ponyville cafe! What would you like to order?” pulling out a notepad and pencil with her magic Ramirez got ready to take his order, blushing lightly she thought to herself ‘he’s actually pretty cute…’

“Depends on what you ponies serve here. Let me guess; cupcakes and ice cream topped with sprinkles and—” He opened one eye and paused, seeing that Ramirez was a changeling.

“W-well we do but we also have stuff like cheesecake, we also have things such as coffee and tea” noticing his stare made Ramirez blush harder “i-is there anything you would like?”

“Waaait a minute.”

“H-Hm?”

“…Huh,” he finally uttered after a moment of awkward silence. “Been a while since I laid eyes on one of these types of changelings. Been way too long, actually.”

“What do you mean? An unreformed changeling?” tilting her head in confusion Ramirez is trying to figure out what he meant.

“Well, yeah.”

“How so? Haven’t you seen any other unreformed changelings?” Ramirez asked.

“Well… honestly, I have… never thought I’d see one working in Ponyville of all places. Ponies never freak out around you or anything?”

“Mm-mm” Ramirez shook her head “they were at first but after a while they warmed up to me and got friend, heck, my husband is a pony”

“Interesting. Anyway, whatcha got here?”

“Well like I said we got cheesecakes but we also have muffins, cupcakes, maybe even a small slice of cake, and coffee along with tea. We also have salads”

“Mm… I suppose a salad couldn’t hurt. If it keeps a gossamer mane fresh, I’ll take it.”

“Alright!” writing down the order in her notepad, Ramirez hopped off her stool and made her way in the back.

“Hm… not bad.”

A minute later Rami came back with a salad and placed it in front of him on the counter, getting back up onto her stool again. “Will that be all mr… uh?”

“Venom. Venom Stinger.”

“Alright Venom Stinger, will that be all?” Ramirez said, smiling and wagging her tail.

“Mmm guess so. For now.”

“Alrighty then, that will be 10 bits!”

Venom nodded, putting the cash on the counter.

“Thank you! Enjoy your meal Venom!”

“Thanks. Catch ya later.”

“Later Venom!” jumping off of her stool again she went into the backroom for her break, probably to call her family and to check up on them.
