And I really need to talk about something. Spoilers for those who haven’t played Splatoon 3.

It’s pretty known that DJ Octavio was the antagonist of the first two Splatoon games. He reappears in the third game, but as the first boss, and it’s clear that he’s not the main baddie this time. After that though, he disappears completely and doesn’t show up again until the final boss, where he’s just a Deus ex Machina that helps the player fight the true antagonist of the game.

What’s the definition, you may ask? Well, pretty much everyone in the brony fandom is familiar with Rule 63 alone. Half Rule 63 is when you take at least one character out of a cast and genderbend them and only them while leaving everyone else to be their original gender.

It’s very common with shipping to; in which you have two characters, and you Rule 63 only one of them instead of both of them.
