Yeah I agree with this. I feel that G5 MYM show has so much potential and character development, but it keeps pushing it back, which is why I felt off when watching the chapters.

And I also agree with the dragon. I hate it so much

* For me, the dragon plot line seems too sandwiched in and they should have reserved it for later in the show/season

* Hitch’s v/a’s delivery is offputtingly horrendous

* Izzy’s voice is off also, but it’s excusable because Kimiko Glenn must be very hard to nail. The overall hyperactivity though has been muted, and I mostly blame the writing for that

* This show is more contrived than Sally Bollywood

* Opaline: basic bitch and queen of exposition! Beware, Twilight, hath she not already taken your monarchy?

* Fuck Posey. Bring back Sprout, damnit.

* Twilight’s design is fugly af.

* They chopped Izzy’s mane :(

* Movie was fun, the shows are not.

* All characters feel detached, not just from the plot, but also from one another. Not boding well. Bad writing is worse than bad animation, for any show.

* Sparky is creepy af. Please put him down. And no I don’t mean kindly.

Everyone was quick to assume that:

Sunny - Twilight (Magic)
Hitch - Fluttershy (Kindness) and AJ (Honesty)
Zipp - RD (loyalty)
Pipp - Rarity (Generosity)
Izzy - Pinkie Pie (Laughter)

The last two are fine. But, are we forgetting that Zipp literally left Pipp hanging in the middle of the castle ballroom?? And her whole dealio about discovering magic again was so that she could finally stop lying and tell the truth?? No??? Because I do.
I’d also be inclined to say that all five represent the element of magic as a more symbolic thing, given as friendship IS magic.

• They feel that every generation should have a dragon right off the bat, and they did, and we hate it
• Hitch's VA does not even sound like him, and its very, very off.
• It will be hard to find another VA that sounds like Izzy's original actor, and I think her voice is fine.
• Posey is an ok character, and they did bring back Sprout, but has a lesser role.
• Ikr Twilight deserved better.
• I wish it was longer too :(
• The show is fine, but the writers need to up their game. (I'm speaking for MYM since I have not seen the YouTube shorts. Which is very dumb that you have to watch those first, and then watch the main series to get the story and where that damn lighthouse came from)

It should've been its own thing instead of it being a sequel and maybe I wouldn't dislike it so much.
