“Hey Star! I’m back!” Ramirez said happily as she entered her home and closing the door behind her, almost immediately she was hugged tightly by Star.
“Ramirez! I missed you!” he said happily as well, giving her a little kiss.
she giggled in response “are the kids okay?” she asked.
“Yeah! they’re okay! it was hard to put them to sleep but- wait...what's that smell?” Star lifted his snout and started smelling the air around him.
“Huh, I don't smell anything. did something spoil in the fridge or something? maybe-” Ramirez froze, the smell is coming from her! ‘shit! I forgot to take a shower! oh fuck! oh fuck! oh fuck!’
the closer Star got to Rami the stronger the scent that he was currently smelling, as he walked around her Ramirez gulped nervously. when Star finally found the source of the smell (Ramirez) he growled and even snarled!
“S-Star? w-why are you snarling at m-me?”
snapping out of it, Star looked at the scared-looking changeling “Huh...that's...strange...I’ve never done something like that before, are you okay? I-I hope I didn’t scare you or anything”
“Y-Yeah I’m good!” Ramirez answered fast
”Alright then...well...I’ll be in the kitchen making food for us, still confused on why I growled or why you smell funny...”
“A-Alright” as she watched Star leave she let out a say of relief ‘holy shit that was close! far too close!’
