Rough Test: Persona 5 Menu Meme · 3:46pm Apr 20th, 2017
Just a quick half-hour rough test of the P5 menu meme that's going around. It looks like crap but at least I got the basics down and know I can do more serious takes on this one later.

Well I'm hyped.
(Edit) LOL even twilight is disappointed we have barely had any "map sends us to explore Equestria" episodes.
You know I was under the impression we were going to get more of these back when season 5 started, but at this point I think we will be lucky to get 3 that are not part of the premier or finale. Oh well. I've been enjoying the season regardless so I cant complain that much. BRING ON MORE SEASON 5!
I have been thinking about leaving the mlp fandom, there have been a lot of determining factors for me just by watching the show, I kind of lost interest after the mid season finale for this season (5) I have been a fan since the beginning and that was thanks to one of my best friends.
So, I just finished off the finale. All in all, not too shabby all around. Season 5 was pretty solid over all. Below the break (I'm not actually sure how to do that. I assume a Page Break is sufficient) are my semi-live reactions and thoughts during my viewing session. It was a 9 episode binge, so this post will probably be lengthy. Each episode is headed in bold by episode number and title. Possible spoilers, I guess?
In my last post, I talked how Mr. Scorcher’s review of the season finale inspired some deep thoughts about Starlight Glimmer as a character. Well, while I was writing the last post, I re-watched his review just to make sure I was representing his opinions accurately. While I was doing this, a statement that he made caught my attention. According to him, people only want to see characters redeemed if they are able to sympathize with them.
WHAT?!?
DIAMOND rating in SWAT???
What is going on here? I'm NOT this good at competitive Halo. I was a Highest Skill of 22 in Halo 3 for crying out loud!
The long wait is over! Season 5 of MLP:FiM is back!
Opal gets no respect.
Eww, Pinkie, really? Strawberry cinammon cilantro?
Oh look, it's a Fleur redeco!
Yeah, Sassy Saddles got on my nerves right away.
...something tells me Sassy Saddles is Suri Polomare all over again. Or rather, she's supposed to be working for Rarity, but it looks like she thinks Rarity is working for HER.
Yyyyeah Sassy is a control freak. Like crazy.
Oh look, it's The Art of the Dress 2.0!
So, you may or may not have heard, but Scare-Master got leaked early on iTunes.
And it's all over Youtube and other places already.
...pfsyeah, like I'm NOT gonna watch it? XD
So I just watched it, and it's a really, really fun episode. And a good Fluttershy episode, and has a good moral they haven't used yet.
I won't spoil it beyond that--when the episode airs in its natural rotation, I'll do a normal blog post for it as always.
I'll just say this:
After last week's forgettable episode, it's time for the one we've all been waiting for:
Brotherhooves Social! An episode which will have a lot of Big Macintosh! Eeyup!
"ONE VOTE?"
I've been seeing a lot of people comment on how Diamond Tiara lost to Pip by one vote, and then confronted Silver Spoon about not voting for her.
A lot of people seem to have forgotten how secret ballots work.
Folks, Diamond Tiara didn't lose by one vote.
Diamond TIara only GOT one vote.
Her own.
That's how she knew Silver Spoon voted for Pip.
Because nopony voted for Diamond Tiara except Diamond Tiara.
The episode opens with Twilight being a big nerd and having a nerdcation.
Season 5 started after a lengthy hiatus, had lots of highs and lows, took a ridiculously long mid-season break, and had the season finale spoiled by the last scene of Friendship Games. We've seen some incredible changes to the status quo this season, including the Cutie Mark Crusaders finally getting their Cutie Marks, character development for Diamond Tiara, and the announcement of Cadance's pregnancy.
And now, here we are, ending the season the same way it began:
Warning. This post is all over the place.
And with the finale, Season 5 comes to a close, and the hiatus begins today. But how did Season 5 stack up in comparison to the others, and why do I like it so much? Who wants to see Emerald talk to herself because no-pony reads these, but she likes posting them anyway? In short:
5 < 2 < 4 < 3 <1
In long? Well, here I go.
Already mentioned this in my weekly gaming blog, but I felt it deserved further comment. I wouldn't exactly qualify this as a P5 spoiler since if you don't know who this dude is on sight, it can't exactly spoil anything for you.
It's not just me, right? Right?
Goodbye, Grifball.
Hammer Storm update hit Halo 5 today. Dove right into Grifball. First game we won 5-0. Very fun. Game is no longer reset after a goal.
Second game, I was booted for betrayals.
Yep. You read that right. Betrayal booting in Grifball.
Great job, 343. Just when I think you guys are finally on the ball, we find a reason to put the dunce cap back on.
My 500th game also bumped me to Level 60.
Split right down the middle, too. 250 Arena games, 250 Warzone games.
The mid-season hiatus is upon us. So, how was the first half of the fifth season?
First off, let me tell you something. I really dislike Twilight’s Castle. Why? I don’t want to be one of those people who say that it was just “merchandising” because it is the accepted idea. However, I think that this is true. As we have seen from the Season 5 premiere, the castle could be of major relevance in the future.
I'm not entirely sure what competitive rank I was expecting when I finished my 10th game of Breakout, but Platinum sure wasn't it.
I hope the game got it right, because I can't drop down to Gold if I'm out of my league here until December. Rank resets every months, and you can't drop a division to prevent de-ranking, which was rampant with bored high-level players in Halo 2 and 3.
