Hello, Grifball. · 11:56pm Feb 24th, 2016
Goodbye, Grifball.
Hammer Storm update hit Halo 5 today. Dove right into Grifball. First game we won 5-0. Very fun. Game is no longer reset after a goal.
Second game, I was booted for betrayals.
Yep. You read that right. Betrayal booting in Grifball.
Great job, 343. Just when I think you guys are finally on the ball, we find a reason to put the dunce cap back on.
Normally, I'd expect this to be patched within 48 hours, but then again, this is the developer that took more than a month to fix the Armory glitch in Warzone Assault.
Oh well, back to SWAT for me.
Wait why is Betrayal booting a bad thing in Grifball?
3775727 Have you played Grifball in Halo 3 or Reach?
It's 8 players with Gravity Hammers trying to stop a single player from planting a bomb in close quarters.
3775732 Well in that case yeah I can see why that's infuriating.... good thing I mainly do Halo for the single player stuff.
3775739 Halo and Titanfall are pretty much the only multiplayer offerings I tolerate anymore.
What can I say? People suck.
3775747 I know. From what I've seen most Multiplayer FPS stuff usually has the people whining that they should be winning because they're a higher level or some shit like that.
Just when you think they LITERALLY CANNOT FUCK IT UP ANYMORE THAN THEY ALREADY HAVE.
I bought Killer Instinct solely because I can play as the Arbiter in that game, now, while Halo won't.
Not a Halo player.... what is betrayal booting?
Hopefully 343 fixes it quick.
3775840 You are automatically kicked from the game after a certain number of Betrayals. Usually 2 or 3.
Grifball is very fast paced, close quarters, and everyone has an area-of-effect weapon. Chances of friendly fire are extremely high.
