I sometimes find myself wondering, what will be my legacy? My mark on the world?
We will start with the recipe for the perfect vegetable risotto, fit for a princess. Some ponies use plain water to cook the rice separately, this is a mistake.
To begin, first you need your ingredients. These amounts are for four, so adjust as needed.
200(ish) grams of chestnut mushrooms, though any decent mushroom will do,
It seems like the end of an era is upon us. June Foray, the voice of Natasha and Rocky in the Bullwinkle Show, and Granny in Looney Tunes, has died today at the age of 99.
Today is Brian Drummond's birthday. He is the talented man who voiced characters such as Mr. Carrot Cake, Filthy Rich and even Ahuizotl. It was kind of strange that he returned to voice Ahuizotl and provide voice work in general in Season 9 of the show after being inexplicably absent in Season 8 and having a largely reduced amount of roles in Seasons 6 and 7. I'm not sure if Brian had other projects he was involved with that kept him away, because him coming back for Season 9 means DHX couldn't
I’ll just jump into it: PONY Legacy has been republished.
(If you never noticed -- and you could be forgiven for that -- I unpublished it several years ago since I was making some major rewrites to the existing chapters.)
The entire story is completely done and ready for publication, but I know some people like to consume stories bit by bit, so I’ll be doing weekly updates.
I'm continuing to write on a daily basis (got over 4k words written for my upcoming Sonic story last night), but interactions with others online is likely stopping for a very short time.
Rock and Roll legend David Bowie died today of cancer after an 18 month battle. He was 69 years old. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996, Bowie is perhaps best known for his relatively short lived alter ego of Ziggy Stardust in the 1970's.
He also had a successful film career, though he did not appear too often in films.
The trend keeps on coming. Brian Bedford, the voice of Walt Disney's Robinhood died late Wednesday after a two year battle against cancer. He was 80 years old.
Just a day after the death of her daughter, Carrie Fisher at the age of 60, actress Debbie Reynolds died today of what appears to have been a stroke, she was 84 years old.
The year of death appears to have taken one more casualty this year, in the form of former astronaut and congressman John Glenn. Glenn was 95 years old and the cause of death has yet to be disclosed.
After a lengthly struggle with Parkinson's disease, boxing legend Muhammad Ali died yesterday. He was 74 years old. Muhammad learned to box at the age of 12 after his bike was stolen, and converted to Islam in 1964. In 1967, he was stripped of his title after coming out against the Vietnam War and opposing enlistment. His convinction would be overturned in 1971, by which time
Yet another talented soul has been claimed from us in the year of death, albeit this time a death that was likely coming. Alan Young died yesterday at the age of 96, of natural causes.
A talented actor has been taken before his time, Stefan Karl Stefansson, the Icelandic actor famous for portraying Robbie Rotten on Lazy Town died today of cancer he was only 43 years old.
Yesterday was Tara Strong's birthday. She is of course the talented young woman who voiced Twilight Sparkle, and was briefly the voice of Twilight Velvet when the character first spoke at the end of "The Crystalling, Part 2" (Patrica Drake took over the role when Velvet spoke again in "Once Upon a Zeppelin").
So far, this has been one hell of a ride. A sci-fi epic in every sense of the words.
If this can satisfyingly wrap up the last 16 years of storytelling in the SC universe, then this may be my Campaign of the Year.
I also find it disappointing that no gaming news site I visit has, um, ANY articles up about the game because they're too busy vomiting out page after page of Fallout 4 clickbait.
Variety, you fucktards.
Today is Nicole Oliver's birthday. She is of course the talented woman who voices both Princess Celestia and Cheerilee in the show, and she voiced Spitfire in the character's debut appearance in "Sonic Rainboom" (the role was subsequently recast to Kelly Metzeger for all future appearances).
An unexpected development has just occurred. Comedian and voice actor Gilbert Gottfried, apparently having been suffering from a long illness, died today at the age of 67.
Former James Bond actor Sir Roger Moore died today in Switzerland after a brief battle with cancer, he was 89 years old and news of his death was broken on Twitter by his family. Roger Moore was the third actor to play the famous British secret agent, and the second to take over from Sir Sean Connery (the first had been George Lazenby, who quit after just one film, forcing
Well, apparently, she's been dead for almost a month now, but no one knew about it until today.
