I'm a brony and a Pinkie Pie fan but I like all of the mane six, as well as Spike. I hope to provide some entertaining and interesting fanfics for the Brony community.

    Happy Birthday, Daniel Ingram

Today is Daniel Ingram's birthday. He is of course the talented composer for FiM who gave us memorable songs and even background tracks. He also apparently used to be a former bandmate of Weird Al Yankovic.

Happy birthday, Daniel. You will go down in history as one of the greatest television show composers of all time.

    Happy (Late) Birthday, Andrew Francis

Yesterday was Andrew Francis' birthday. He is the talented man who voiced Shining Armor beginning in "A Canterlot Wedding", and was briefly the voice of Night Light for the character's first speaking appearance at the end of "The Crystalling". He also had a few small roles here and there throughout G4.

My Little Pony: Make Your Mark Special Review (Spoiler Alert!)

Well, it's time. The special just dropped on Netflix this morning, and I imagine it's only a matter of time until people find a way to pirate it to online platforms so non Netflix users can see it. Kind of weird that Hasbro is choosing now of all times to commit so heavily to Netflix, not just for MLP but for Power Rangers as well. Netflix seems to be in danger of going the way of Blockbuster,

    Happy Birthday, Kelly Sheridan

Today is Kelly Sheridan's birthday. She is the talented woman who voiced Starlight Glimmer, Sassy Saddles, Misty Fly and a handful of other characters throughout G4. Although one of the more obscure Vancouver voice actors, she has had a prolific career, including a number of roles in projects shared with the late Kirby Morrow.

R.I.P. Gilbert Gottfried · 9:34pm April 12th

An unexpected development has just occurred. Comedian and voice actor Gilbert Gottfried, apparently having been suffering from a long illness, died today at the age of 67.

A veteran of Saturday Night Live, Gilbert started his work as a comedian in the 80's and slowly rose to prominence as the decade wore on. Yet it was his performance as Iago the parrot in Disney's Aladdin which brought him national reconnection. Unlike Robin Williams, Gilbert was able to reprise the role of Iago for both sequels as well as the television series and for many related Disney animations.

Needless to say, Gilbert's death hits hard. But at least he's up there with Robbin Williams now.

Oh no 😢 r.i.p to him

Indeed, I'm deeply saddened by his passing today.

I've been internally crying for over an hour. Externally, I actually put on an old episode of Cyberchase. It's better to laugh than to cry.

In loving memory:

I guess the 2020s is becoming the decade of celebrity deaths.

When I often made my reviewing plans, I kept creating an analysis on an animated film called “Animal Crackers” on standby. After I found out about Gilbert Gottfried’s passing, though, I decided that I would no longer waste any time getting around to see the film and review it as a dedication to Gottfried, the reason being that he starred in the movie as Mario Zucchini.

We have lost yet another legend today.

He will forever be missed and cherished. :fluttercry:

"Godspeed, you magnificent bastard." - Soldier TF2/Rick May

God, so sad. I remember hearing him often on the show "Cyberchase" as Digit, the Cybird.

He and Robin Williams were part of the reason Aladdin is my favorite Disney movie and one of my favorite Disney franchises.

I always watched that show when I came home from school. His character Digit and Hacker (Christopher Lloyd) were my two favorite characters in the show.

My older brother and I met Gilbert at a comedy show back in 2019 where he autographed movies we own starring him (my VHS copy of The Return of Jafar and my brother's Problem Child Tantrum Pack DVD box set), as well as took a picture with each of us.

He was one of the kind 😥
