Two things to note:
Firstly, I've acquired the pony comic Humble Bundle, which means that I can theoretically do Friendship is Card Games articles for the comics... and in some cases, that will mean demonstrating why I'm only a fan of most everything, because shave my mustache and call me a Minnesotan, some of those comics suck.
According to Equestria Daily, IDW is reaching the end of Season 10, with an upcoming issue 102. But they have a special mini series coming in October called, My Little Pony: Generations. Which will have the Mane Six meeting and teaming up with their 80s counterparts from MLP G1 to stop a witch threat from the Volcano of Doom.

I'd heard whisperings that FF#19 turned out to be a decent issue, so I checked it out.
FF#19 could be an episode of the show.
A decent episode, at that.
I haven't forgiven IDW and Bobby Curnow for all the crap that's been in the comics in the last year here, but...
FF#19 shows that there IS some life left in the comics.

Thusly, it is only logical that I give a rundown of IDW's new Transformers/MLP mashup, The Magic of Cybertron. The first issue just dropped, so I figured I'd weigh in with you guys. And thus far, the issue is ... okay?
The recent IDW comics issues 67 and 68 go into great detail about Tempest Shadow's past, and why her friends abandoned her. Plus a descent present-day adventure story. Plus Cadance. So anyone who knows me at least reasonably well will know that I'm an avid reader of the MLP comics by IDW. I've followed them basically since they started, and in that time I've seen all their dizzying heights and their darkest depths. By which I mean that the overall comics massively vary in quality.

Hey. I've been quiet lately due to a story I'm working on set in Discordneal14's universe(with approval from him of course), just waiting for his to finish to release mine since it's sort of a direct sequel. However in the meantime I have a story idea I want to ask you guys.
Hey, first blog post on here. So as I write my first story on here, I'm going to be integrating bits of comic canon into it. Now I know that lots of people read the IDW MLP comics, but I know there are probably those that don't. Reading the comics won't be required for reading my fanfic, not at all. But the fact is that I love the IDW comics and I want to be able to share that with others who might not have taken a look at them.
