So, uh, been a hot minute since I followed up on that little 50's movie review thread I started a while back, huh? Guess my narrative writing isn't the only thing that suffers from sloth. Or rather, I've been sluggish and getting around to posting my mini-reviews here, really, I've already had them written up in a Discord among friends, so I technically have had them on hand all this time just...well,
I know what you're thinking. Where the heck have you been? I mean this is the time for vacations and cutting loose! Well fear not my intrepid readers I've been quite busy. Living it up as it were and spending money as if it were a finely crafted box of Thunderbird. Until this week, I've been seeing doctors of one variety or another.
Today I was at a thrift store. I'm not quite sure why I was there. It just seemed to be that I ended up there. Anyway, I was going through the pants looking for loose change when all of a sudden I saw a man. He was wearing a shirt that said Nantucket's Finest.
I asked him if he was the man from Nantucket. He told me he was. I asked him if what I'd heard about him was true. It was then he looked down sighed a little sadly and walked away.
So Love Dependence Day is just around the corner. For those of you who have are in relationships enjoy it for what it's worth. Personally I think you should express such things more than one day a year but, what do I know. For those out there who aren't with someone don't worry about it. There's no reason to be jealous. Have fun with it. I know I will.
