Interesting that Buck backed off of that offer there. Anyways, I'm loving the crazy date between Night and Hispano.
And more fun references. Oh what kind of pony would even enjoy mega spell explosion's? I guess Hispano will find out in ten years. Also, that cliff hanger.
I love how you put references back to the very beginning when Night was mistaken as Bombay. Makes me remember Night offending some high-ups daughter at school and she told her father, and Night's family suffered from less rations because his father got fewer shifts. And Night skimming through the trees, and meeting Hispano.
And I just now realized the relevance of Hispano's sister (gun) Suiza. Hispano Suiza is a luxury car brand (https://www.hispanosuizacars.com/) with very Atompunk / Fallout Equestria styling and really epitomizes your vision for the design of the awesome weapon that Suiza is. That was a hidden easter egg that took me years to find.
Please continue to put these little references in, at least once a chapter, as it triggers all the old memories and adds to the reading of the current story.
So thanks again for a great chapter.

While it's true that Hispano-Suiza made some fantastic looking cars from 1900 to the 1930's, there is another thing Hispano and her sister are a reference too. Much like most manufacturing companies in the mid 1930's, WWII demanded that factories convert over from making luxury or consumer goods, to instead making equipment for the war effort. Companies like Ford, General Motors, and Rolls Royce, already had manufacturing lines for mass production of quality engines, as well as frames and bodies for vehicles. The other vehicle companies who were smaller, like Oldsmobile or Hispano-Suiza, had parts of them delegated to machine and manufacture weaponry.
Enter the Hispano-Suiza HS.404 gas operated 20mm automatic cannon, a simple, durable, and versatile weapon that found itself used in most western allied aircraft in the war, and even quite a few after!

I just love the hidden detail. I google each and every name you use to find additional information. I just wish my imagination was as detailed as yours. I need to put my reread of MN7 and Heroes on hold when your updates come in and am longing for your story to be completed so that I can read it again - like the scene where Bombay got his cutie mark. Busy rereading Heroes again and loving every minute.
Looking forward to a new chapter. Hope it is coming out soon :-)
